Good stay - parking needs improvement

This was a great hotel. Amenities were in good condition and the restaurant on site if good. The one snag I think is the parking situation. You can pay $15 a day for valet but to self park, you have to park offsite at an overflow lot for boat trailers.

I loved the beautiful property as well as dining options at the 34 degrees North Restaurant and the helpfulness of the staff. The only negative was that parking is $15 for valet or you have to take a 5 minute walk back and forth to your car which is much farther at the edge of their property and across another street.

This is by far, my nail favorite hotel in North Carolina. The staff is beyond proficient, they are personable, happy, professional, knowledgeable. The bartenders are like stand-up comics and so hospitable. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. It was an excellent stay, I will be back, and soon.
