Gem of a Home

This is a beautiful home, we are returning renters and we loved it just as much as the last time we stayed. These hosts have thought of everything. Just a well appointed home with lots of extra touches and maybe also say it’s one of the cleanest homes we’ve ever stayed in and that goes a long way in this day and age. I just can’t recommend this lil spot enough. I hope we can stay again.

Lovely Stay

Alex and Lisa are supreme hosts! Their home has be carefully and thoughtfully restored with all the modern amenities you could need, but with the Maine Farmhouse heart true to the original home. It was a peaceful, calm stay and easy to get anywhere, but tucked away off Route 1. The space is relaxing with a beautiful view of the wildflower field and the water. I highly recommend both the home and the hosts!

The property was beautifully restored and decorated. Very comfortable and relaxing for six guests on very private lot. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch looking at the view and wildlife. Lovely Belfast area home

Truly loved our stay in this stylish yet comfortable home near our favorite town in Maine. Beds were very comfortable, lots of room for our teens to have their own space. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals at home, on nights where we didn’t eat at great local restaurants in Belfast and Rockland. Greatly enjoyed toasting marshmallows by the fire pit each evening:)

Beautiful Home

This is one of my favorite rentals of all time! Absolutely lovely home. The owners have thought of everything. Very well appointed home with so many thoughtful extras. I would like to say I’ve never felt more welcome, arriving with all of the warm lights on, from the front to the back and the top to the bottom. Very special. The bed was comfortable, the steam shower was a dream. Communication with the homeowner was a breeze and very warm. I was very impressed with the cleanliness off this rental-way above average. I really can’t say enough nice things so I will end with I highly recommend this rental and I hope I have the privilege of staying here again!

Beautiful Home!

What a wonderful place to stay to explore Mid-Coast Maine! The large house is exactly as pictured and is spotless. My family and I enjoyed the mornings on the front porch overlooking the wildflower meadow and the breezes off the bay. The kitchen is so well equipped I actually thought about cooking on vacation. There are too many special little touches in this rental to list, but I will call out the incredible expresso machine and the fire pit! Staying in Belfast allowed us to drive up to Acadia for the day and spend a few days in Camden. Highly recommend Young’s Lobster Pound and Chase’s Daily. Belfast also has some lovely shops and Eat More Cheese is the perfect place to pick up essentials for a gourmet picnic!

Excellent Stay

We really enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. It felt special from the moment we pulled up with all the pretty lighting turned on. The house was very well stocked with items that we might need for our stay. We especially enjoyed the porch and picking wildflowers from the field out front. Also, hanging out around the firepit at night was something my family really enjoyed. It was obvious that the owners had put a lot of effort into the home and were concerned that we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. We appreciated interacting with an actual owner instead of a management company. Thanks for helping us create some great new family memories!

Wonderful vacation!

We just spent 12 relaxing days at this property. We enjoyed the house, especially the kitchen and the island where we prepared some amazing meals. We loved having coffee on the porch in the morning watching the morning sun. Lisa and Alex are wonderful host, they are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and we took advantage of in planing some of our excursions. We hope to come!

An amazing home in a beautiful setting! The design and style is top notch. Comfy beds, plush towels, fully stocked kitchen. Incredible yard for kids of all ages and the perfect porch for adults to watch them. Great location...close to town and the water but secluded from the hustle bustle. Another great stay at this beautiful home.

We booked this home again a month after returning last year-perfect for our family of 6. The open plan, bright kitchen, big tv couch, very comfortable beds, window seat and breezy porch are just some of the reasons we hope to return next year. The owners are incredibly responsive, generous and friendly. We had friends and family visit us-and they stayed at the Belfast Harbor Inn which is almost across the street (though well out of view due to this house’s situation on a hill far back from the road). Belfast is the perfect mix of real working town and pretty vacation spot-and if you want to stay in a home with lots of space and privacy, but only five minutes from downtown, this is it.

Our family of six (2 adults and four kids 7-11) had plenty of room to spread out in this very comfortable and inviting home. Beds were wonderful, kitchen and living area perfect. Perfect for kids who love playing outside -and great visibility for supervising kids playing outside from kitchen and living area. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the porch enjoying the breezes and surveying the view!
