Great place but the step up from the outside is very high. I'm 6'2" and it was a bit of a step. Also, first impression coming in the front hall, not so good. The front door is in definate need of replacing and overall the hall way is not very cheerful.otherwise all was great!
We had a wonderful stay! Very convenient location for accessing downtown Belfast, check in was a breeze, the place was very clean & nicely furnished with a comfy bed and everything we needed for preparing some simple meals. I would happily stay here again!
We primarily used the apartment as a home base for hiking Acadia and some other state parks and it was great. The place had grew acess to the town of Belfast. Sean was also great and was always helpful. I would recommend this to everyone.
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Tiny Tuck-In. The proximity to downtown Belfast allowed us to walk to dinner each evening to enjoy all the great restaurants, while keeping our car parked in the lot adjacent to the studio apartment using the handy parking pass provided with the rental. The space was very clean with included amenities like fluffy bath towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, sugar and spices, coffee and tea, and even a few Evian waters. The bedding was actually nicer than pictured in the listing--a soft velvet comforter and cozy sheets. The weekend we were there was cold and rainy so we especially appreciated that the owner had the gas fireplace going for us upon arrival. It was a thoughtful touch. We'd highly recommend this place!
We have been staying at this property for 3 years now and it's been a smooth process time and time again. Great access, location to town, and anything else you could want.
Sean was a perfect host.
We flew into Manchester, NH, rented a car and drove 3.5 hours to Belfast arriving after 10 pm.
We had asked for a dress steamer to take the wrinkles from a formal dress and some button down shirts we needed for a wedding we were going to while in town it was there!
Everything we needed was within walking distance. We had breakfast but th morning and f our stay and lunch at a local brewery and never had to move the car.
We enjoyed our trip and this was the perfect place to stay
My little apartment was wonderful! Located in town, felt very safe and it was extremely clean and safe. I was amazed at how well stocked with towels, hangers, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, soap, hairdryer and iron! The kitchen was just as well stocked with everything. Bed was very comfortable plus you had a washer and dryer I willl definitely highly recommend staying there. Sean the host had great communication skills.
Ovetall it was a great stay...the only drawback for me and my husband was the bed. It was very uncomfortable. We felt that although it was a rental that some effort could be made in purchasing a good qaulity bed. We also thought a laminate floor would have made the place look more updated to go alnog with the updated kitchenette. Overall the one thing we would have changed would have been the bed.
The perfect spot for exploring Belfast and the area
A lovely, clean, and charming 2nd floor studio in a historic building at the edge of downtown. An easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront, and a short drive to explore all of the natural beauty of the area. Easy parking, easy check in and out, easy communication. Everything you need!
The problem was with booking and not the host. Orbitz could never find my reservation. Luckily I had good communication with host and could get arrival instructions.
This was a charming studio apartment - clean and comfortable, well-equipped and handy to everything in Belfast. Sean was a very responsive to all our communications, answering any queries within seconds. We enjoyed our short stay in both the apartment and the pretty town of Belfast.
