The Stargazer was built in 1965 overlooking Bend's Westside, this authentic Mid-century Modern treasure has undergone a full, period-inspired restoration. Preserving the original artistry of Mid-century design, this home features an open, beautifully lit layout with skylights and picture windows opening out onto a large outdoor living space and patio, with your own private salt system hot tub under the stars. Perfect for your gathering of family and friends!

The quintessential get-a-way just up the hill from town, the Stargazer is nestled in a grove of ponderosa and juniper in one Bend's most desirable neighborhoods. One step removed from all of the fun and action of Bend's popular Westside, you will feel a million miles away and love "coming home" to relax in this peaceful, wooded setting.You will be absolutely delighted by the gorgeous, sophisticated furnishings! Original Mid-century treasures along with pieces from Design within Reach, and original artwork by local Bend and Portland artists. Relax and unwind in front the huge HDTV.

Unleash your inner “gourmet” and prepare an unforgettable meal in the fabulous, fully equipped kitchen complete with black stainless appliances, a 6 burner gas range, All-clad cookware for you to create with, all in an unparalleled setting. Top off the experience with a lovely table set for 8 with Williams Sonoma dinnerware and crystal wine glasses. There are 3 counter stools for your extra guests.

It's no doubt that the key to a wonderful vacation is a good night's sleep! Unsurpassed comfort awaits you as you snuggle into gorgeous, high thread count luxury linens and European style down duvets. All of the beds feature High quality Casper memory foam mattresses. There is a master suite with a full bath and private courtyard, a queen bedroom also with a private courtyard and full bath. The second queen also has a private bathroom and shower. The bunk room has 2 sets of bunks sleeping 4, each with a separate trundle for 2 extra kiddos. (the home sleeps 10, but 2 additional small children in the trundles would be considered) Kids will love watching 'toons on their own tv. The bunk room also has a private bathroom with a double vanity, shower and tub.

Beautiful, comfortable house in a great location!

Three families came together for a family reunion, and this house was perfect for us. We loved the spacious living spaces, comfortable, beds, and ample bathrooms. We cooked a lot and the kitchen is well equipped. We also loved using the hot tub at night. We hope to come back in the future.

We had a great stay. The First Aid kit needed bandaids, but we sorted out the very small cut one guest had. Very clean, great location, plenty of hangout spaces. Close to a swimming hole!

Light and space

We absolutely loved this house. It was even better than anticipated. Every bedroom had an en-suite bath which made us feel like we were in a 5 star hotel. The kitchen was well equipped and the skylights made the space feel light and spacious. And the morning visit from mama deer and her doe was magical. A great neighborhood. I highly recommend this place.

In town for a half marathon!

This property was an excellent choice for a group of 4 friends in town to run the Bend marathon/half marathon. Each room is a private suite and the kitchen is really well appointed to be able to cook. We all had a great time, loved the hot tub and deer, too!

Beautiful property

Loved the house! It was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Couldn't get more perfect for our family get together with my sisters and their spouses, brother, nephew and his daughter, having four bedrooms each with their own bathroom. And seeing deer outside was great! You felt like you were in the woods, but actually in town. Will absolutely stay here again next time.

The Stargazer Does Not Disappoint!

This property is amazing! Beautiful home and really close to everything you’d want to do in Bend. It’s in a wonderful neighborhood but you still feel secluded by the amazing backyard. We would wake up to a few deer walking through the property and rest at night in the hot tub! Also really close to downtown and Old Mill. Amazing!

Perfect Bend Vacation

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful, comfortable home in the hills. It was super convenient to everything and had plenty of space for our group of 6. The beds were all cozy and the home was well stocked with all the necessities. A wonderful surprise was all the deer casually hanging around just outside the windows. I'm so happy I chose the Stargazer.

Loved our stay!! The house is beautiful and the kitchen is incredibly stocked. The backyard was wonderful and we really enjoyed the view at night. Great location- about a 7 minute drive from most the places we wanted to visit! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Lovely property, well appointed. Sparkling clean! Each room is a suite which worked well for our extended family group. The home layout was great with a large deck with plenty of seating. The kitchen is great for those who like to cook. I will definitely return.

Cute home

This is a cute, clean mid-century style home. Each bedroom has a bathroom attached which is what sold us on this rental. We counted 10 deer in the yard one day. Rabbits and squirrels running around too! The hot tub was great with a rule to not talk over the jets after 9pm. Bend seems to have a very strict noise ordinance but that was described in all of our communication with the owner so it wasn't a surprise. Just keep that in mind if you are planning to go to Bend with a loud group!! 😊

Very luxurious accommodations...including a nice hot tub...for our annual ski trip to Bend. All 4 us had our own bed room and bathroom...it was nice not to share!
