Excellent location and fabulous view of the river down below. Nightly views of the moon from the hot tub as well breakfasts on the deck were amazing. The condo is a little outdated and not quite in peak condition but very comfy and overall we loved it.
This condo is on a beautiful property, with a nice window view looking out at the trees, and the location is convenient to everything in the Bend area. However, it is very run down and sorely overdue for maintenance work. The carpets are covered in stains, the woodwork is stained and damaged, and the cabinets are old and very worn. The bathroom appears to be from the 1980s with an old whirlpool bathtub that is difficult to step down into and to get out of when taking a shower. When I opened the dryer door the vent area was full of small hairs which were also all around the dryer door seal and on the floor. In the the living/dining area there were cobwebs throughout where the ceiling meets the wall. I reported the dryer issue and cobwebs to Vacasa and was told someone would be out to address the situation, but no one arrived or communicated with me. Attempting to initially get into the condo was confusing and problematic. We had to enter a 10 digit code, which repeatedly failed to open the door. When we called Vacasa we got someone who was unfriendly and unhelpful. After waiting with no response from the Vacasa local team we finally managed to get the code to work. The coffee maker leaked half of my coffee every morning. The furniture was in good condition and the condo setting was beautiful, but the online photos of the inside do not reveal its overall poor condition. I also consider working with Vacasa impersonal and unreliable.
Outstanding unit. Right on the river. We heard the rapids at night. On the way to Mt Bachelor and close to town. On days we didnât ski, we went birding, though lots of birds to see right there.
