Overall, we had a lovely long weekend. Charming little home! Everything we needed, well appointed. Took in all of expected activities of Berkeley Springs. Would have given 5 stars, but was on a really busy street. Overall, very nice!
Beautiful house and weâll equipped kitchen. The hot tub was great and beds were comfy. My only suggestions would be to have some extra blankets in the bedroom closets and a thick mat in the tub as the bottom had a sort of ditch in the middle making it uneven. All in all we really enjoyed the house.
An old fashioned home with cozy accompaniments...we especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch, watching the world go by as we sipped our cocktails each evening.
Aunt Beas is conveniently located to everything Berkeley Springs has to offer. The house is beautifully furnished, spacious and very welcoming. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked. The hot tub was a nice perk after a chilly day sightseeing, it even snowed a bit while we were relaxing. Overall I would definitely recommend Aunt Bea's, it was perfect for our girl's weekend.
Aunt Bea's Bungalow is a very nice property in a convenient location to downtown Berkeley Springs. The quarters and furnishing are very good, and we enjoyed the hot tub and back porch areas in particular. Wifi and TV / cable very good. Only glitch was we lost power a couple of times in heat wave, but maintenance came to fix quite promptly.
We totally enjoyed this house and all its character. Clearly this house is well loved. The sheets/pillows were so comfortable. We very much enjoyed the hot tub too. Thank you very much.
My husband and our two boys (and our dog) booked a trip to Aunt Bea's for 5 nights in July. Having never been to the area before, we were up for an adventure! We thought the town was very charming, and it was great that we were walking distance to the center of town. We especially liked visiting the Berkeley Springs State Park and walking the surrounding areas. The house was absolutely beautiful and spacious with everything we needed for a great vacation. The weather was a bit too hot for the hot tub, but we did enjoy the screened in back porch and front porch during the cooler times in the morning and evening. Our boys were satisfied with the WiFi service and kept themselves busy playing games, although we did manage to drag them out to eat a couple of times and to explore the nearby Cacapon State Park. Unfortunately, there were not too many restaurants and other attractions open until Wednesday or Thursday, and many restaurants closed at 8pm, but we still had a few meals out and found things to do. We later learned that Berkeley Springs is more of a "weekend town", so we'll keep that in mind for our next visit! I gave 4 stars for the accuracy of the listing only because it stated there was a "coin laundry" (which I wasn't sure how to interpret). There is actually a normal sized washer/dryer in the house that is not coin operated. Everything else was exactly as described. We hope to visit again during the Fall or Winter months! Thanks for a great vacation!
We really enjoyed this place. Perfect location to enjoy the hidden gem that is Berkeley Springs. Walking distance to town and a short drive to some great hiking. We look forward to returning again in the future.
Beautiful home in a super sweet neighborhood! Less than 5 min walk into Berkeley Springs, which is full of great places to eat, shop, and just take in the beautifulness of the place. The house was clean, big, and the hot tub was awesome at night! We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back!
Met my BFF from college for a long weekend. The cottage was the perfect place for our girl's weekend. Very clean, very comfortable. We appreciated the original architectural features throughout the home! The yard is fenced, so our two dogs were safe and happily explored the yard while we enjoyed the hot tub. The cottage is well insulated - it was very cold in late January and we were warm and snug the entire weekend.
On my drive in to WVA, the property manager called to warn of a snowstorm moving into the area on Sunday so that we could plan our departure time around the storm. The property manager was also quite helpful when I needed to take my car to a mechanic.
Overall - two thumbs up! I will definitely stay here again in the future.
We had a great stay. The house is exactly as described. Comfortable furniture. Great wifi (we were working all day). Mattresses and sheets were great. Updated styling. A/C worked well. Hot tub very nice. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend. We'd come back again!
We had a lovely weekend in this well decorated cottage. Plenty of space and everything we needed. It was so clean and inviting we almost didnât want to leave. But when we did venture out everything was within walking distance. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Aunt Beaâs exceeded our expectations! Even better in person than in the pictures.

Adorable Well Appointed Home in Downtown Berkeley Springs!
Great renovated home, close to everything in Downtown Berkeley Springs! Everything included and stocked, towels, pots and pans, and adorably decorated for our Holiday stay, with large closets upstairs. You can walk to everything, just a block also from the amazing LOT 12 restaurant! History surrounds the inside and outside of this home! One small note, the street is a moderately busy, it's not a side street and close to 522 (which is also great for sightseeing). We used a noise machine app at night to drown out the noise of any big riggs coming down the highway a few blocks away. Finally, superior customer service, we had a wonderful chat with the agent before arriving, who told me all about the town, great places to eat and things to do! We'll be back!
A lovely house in a lovely place to visit. The house is particularly dog friendly; fenced in backyard, a leash provided for the beautiful front porch, and some toys and treats waiting inside. We had a great stay. Thanks, Aunt Bea!
