Good hotel - close to underground

About 200 yds from underground so easy to get around. Few restaurants local with few shops / more organic healthy shops than ‘normal’ stuff. Breakfast was continental but lots of choice, room large but floor very creaky so midnight trips to loo wake everyone up. We were at the back of the hotel and overlooked a courtyard / great we thought nice and quiet .... until the bins get emptied at 6am - every other day !

staff was very nice beds not so comfortable the carpets at the stairs were a little bet dirty the brakfast was ok its a very old hotel and I hope they will renovate it because the area is very nice and very comfortable

Great for a quick trip

We booked this hotel in a pinch, but it was perfect for what we needed. The bed was two small beds pushed together, but it worked. The water was hot, and we left too early to try breakfast. I’d stay there again if needed!

Good location but

Does not resemble room on website. Only feather pillows, despite advance request for anti-allergenic. No fridge in room. Antiquated secondary glazing that did not lock. Safe that did not work. No kettle or drink-making facilities. No toiletries except liquid soap. Badly stained carpet. Only 4 coat hangers for two people. Dirty Y-fronts left in bedside drawer from previous occupant.

Never again

When I emailed to ask if late check-in was OK, had no reply. Far too expensive for such a poor quality hotel. Could only find one member of staff on arrival who was wearing headphones and couldn't hear me. When I finally got his attention, I was told "No -it's not me" and had to wait for the right person to come along. The entrance is a disgrace and the entire hotel is shabby. From my window I had a view of an abandoned Netto trolley.

Hotellet var obemannat under vår vistelse, nyckeln fick vi själva hämta ut ur en låsbox. Vi såg inte ens några andra gäster? Hotellets läge var toppen med närhet till tunnelbanan och 20min från city. Rummets skick var sådär, smutsiga helteckningsmattor och gardiner. Men sängarna var rena och byttes varje dag. Frukosten provade vi inte då den var stängt under hela tiden (obemannat). Helt OK hotell för att sova på, men hoppas inte på några mirakel.
