A good hotel and nice staff. Good breakfast, convenient location close to metro and s-bahn. Compliment afternoon coffee or tea, fruits and snacks in the afternoon.

Amazing Hotel - Great Staff & Location
Just love this hotel, the staff a friendly and thoughtful. Breakfasts although not included in the room rate are a perfect buffet well stocked until midday with cake & coffee in the afternoon.
Gorgeous location close to both the Underground and S-Bahn. The road is peaceful, safe, friendly and plenty of restaurant choices.
Will definitely visit again!

Comfortable way to enjoy a great city
Rooms, though small, was well designed and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts very good and the free afternoon tea very welcome. Travel to the centre extremely easy and fast and the area itself is well supplied with a good range of restaurants and cafes. A great place to stay with the bonus of being very good value.

Good value for more than money
Very helpful staff (and if you could not find things in your room, please do ask them, such as a kettle for boiling water). Clean, simple and comfortable room (for simple tourists like ourselves). The location is in 5~10 min walking distance to public transport, and it is also only10 min walk to the zoo (with a very nice aquarium and a little farm yard for you to play and feed the farm animals, e.g. goat and sheep). The hotel offers good quality buffet breakfast of both cold and hot choices (15 euros per head) and free and surprisingly good afternoon tea/coffee (you should not miss this). It is also surrounded by many good quality and affordable restaurants and coffee shops (we really enjoyed the Indian food at Ajanta).
Overall, the hotel is perfect for the cost.

PLEASANT STAY AND GOOD VALUE
Amenities and Room cleanliness/comfort:
Hotel OTTO is a boutique hotel and due to it's size, as opposed to bigger hotel chains, it doesn't offer some extra amenities others would probably have but this is not a big issue as I stayed out most of the time. I was given one of the rooms (back of the hotel) on the 06th floor. The room itself looked more like a studio apartment to which I'm pleasantly surprised. It has most of the things a traveler would require. It's spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel doesn't have an air conditioning system in place, therefore rooms may get too warm during the summer months, but they provide electric fans and I'm fortunate to have a French door (small balcony) that opens up to let some breeze in.
Location:
The hotel is situated on a quiet street about 5 minutes walk from Ernst-Reuter-Platz (U-Bahn). It's accessible to tourist sights, airports, major train stations and shopping areas.
Staff:
Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
Value:
Booked as a package and I feel that this is definitely a good value accommodation especially when free snacks are on offer complimentary to guests from 14.00-21.00.
Would definitely come back and recommend.

Good for the budget!
Room is big for a family of 4 but with a small bathroom. Location is good. Very close to tube station and walking distance to many attractions. Breakfast is expensive BUT just by the corner there is a small organic cafe place with PERFECT breads, meals, and everything else you need in a wonderful environment!
