The Hotel is in the middle of a business area so there wasn’t a lot of foot traffic around the hotel but 2 blocks away was the bustling main train station. Clean, quiet, nice breakfast.

I stayed for 5 nights in early October. Temperture outside was a high around 58F, 14.4C. And low around 48F, 8.9C. My room temperature varied between 24.5C and 26.1C, 76F and 79F. Way to warm for me. I am used to interior being 70F to 72F. 21C to 22.2 C. I contacted the front desk on the first night, and they sent someone to my room who confirmed that the Air Conditioner was not working. He also confirmed that when I opened a window that it would not help cool the room at all because it just sucked air out the window that was coming into the room thru the warm vent, even though the thermostat was powered off. He said the front desk would get a hold of me later that night. No one ever called me that night with recommendations. I went back to the front desk to find out what they were going to do. The front desk told me they had no note on my account concerning my complaint. She sent up a different person to check out my Air Conditioner, he used a device to read the air coming out of the vent and stated the lowest teperature possible coming from the vent was 24.5. He called the front desk and told them that all is normal. I spent a lot of time in my hot room sweating. Could not get any real restful sleep.When I needed some relief, I could go and spend some time in the lobby where it was closer to 21C 70F. Shame on you The rest of my experience was excellent.

Everything was ok except the state of the pillows. Very thin. Could definitely do with some new ones or provide the rooms with spares. Disappointed that no tea or coffee making facilities in rhe room. Having to pay for the hot drinks is a bit much.

Es gab einige Probleme mit Staub. Da ich eine Stauballergie habe, konnte ich dadurch zeitweise kaum richtig atmen. Dieses Feedback habe ich auch der Hausverwaltung mitgeteilt. Ich habe ihnen gesagt, dass möglicherweise ein Problem mit der Lüftung besteht, da diese Staub ausstieß. Nachdem ich die Lüftung ausgeschaltet hatte, war es erträglicher. Staff was good and welcoming but the room was not properly cleaned.

I stayed at the Intercity for a week. It was fantastic. So close (150 metres) from Central Station. This made it easy to get everywhere quickly The room was great and just so quiet. The staff were very helpful when needed. A very enjoyable stay

Really picked cause of closeness to Berlin train station, Intercity really impressed me from the staff to the cleanliness of the hotel. Checking in is a breeze and the lobby was a wonderful place to hang out and have drinks when the bar was open. Definitely add on the breakfast if you want a pretty good breakfast. The room was great as well, every detail of the room was used from the shelves by the bed for charging phones and other devices.

I have never stayed at hotel where I showed up and there was literally one pillow and one blanket. The bed was so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep and the stuff is not available at night so you cannot get service between 11 PM and 8 AM if you want additional pillows or blankets. For a hotel that has hundreds of rooms that seems outrageous. I’ve never been to a place this ridiculous.

Check-in desk wanted us to upgrade - don’t fall for it. We’re also told bed was one with two dooners. Were happy rooms had two seperate beds. Take your coffee/tea, hot water available in foyer. Room serviced every 3 days, ran out of hand soap, was expected to replace canister ourselves over basin. Don’t expect room service. Good location to main station.

Good location

Overall stay was fine for 2 nights and good location. I was initially denied the WiFi access code because i was not a "Business Class member". Finally received it when i showed them it was included in my booking.
