The single duvet for a king bed was terrible. The door wouldn’t open from the app, and despite calling support during my five-day stay, they couldn’t resolve the issue. I had to call my neighbours at midnight to open the door for me. It was a really disappointing experience, and the support staff didn’t even pick up the phone.

We liked that the room is large, clean and that there is a lot of natural light. We disliked that there is a stair leading to a second floor/room that were weren't aware about. We were concerned of the guests upstairs accessing our apartment. Owner was responsive and gave us clarity, however these conditions weren't disclosed when we rented the space. The check in process (finding the apartment by pictures) was tedious and odd as was the shower in the apartment which only had a hand shower that worked.

It’s nice and quiet area with only a short walk to restaurants. Close to tram stop and a U Bahn station which is extremely convenient for accessing the city.

Pretty great property. Large rooms and reasonable facilities. The only problem on the ground floor is one pretty much lives on the pavement. Unless one closes the roller shutters and remains stuck in jail without aircon. Otherwise it’s very private and staff is pleasant

We had a wonderful few days stay here. The host is very helpful and polite. The room is very clean and equiped with all you might need. Very spacious, unlike standard hotel rooms. Location is great, easy to find from airport and well conected to other parts of the city.

Live like a local in Berlin

Perfect for a more independent stay in Berlin - apartment for 2 people well equipped with double bed, sofa, TV, fridge, table and chairs, kettle, coffee machine, microwave and hot plates for cooking. Very convenient supermarket just across the road. Very quiet as on side street but only short walk to U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Walking distance from Alexanderplatz. Good restaurants nearby (eg Prater beer garden and A Magica pizza restaurant). Easy check in and out - was able to check in earlier than stated which was a great help. Towels provided. Easy to feel at home here - pay on arrival, get your key and it's like having your own apartment in Berlin.

Mixup but saved

There was a mixup with our booking, so we had to be moved to a 'better' hotel the second night. I liked the 1A better, even though the new one was more expensive. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Good location and comfortable room

The hotel is near Tegal airport with 30 minutes bus and U-bahn. Good location. The place is safe with residential area nearby. The room is big with clean bathroom and fridge. :)

Great experience

Lovely spacious room, really suitable for the three of us. Mr Olaf was a delight-he explained things in precise English and everything was really systematic and worked except for the patchy wi-fi! The convenience store was down the road and so was the U-bahn, so there was no problem getting around. The coffee and tea in the lobby was a boon. Great city and a great hotel. We intend to come back.

Find someplace better

Definitely would not recommend this hotel to non-Germans or someone not familiar with Berlin. There is no one staffing the lobby...EVER... so if you need help you have to buzz the manager who lives somewhere in the neighborhood. It takes him a long time to come and he seemed very impatient and unhappy to help with anything we asked of him. There are no phones in the room or the lobby. No breakfast, no food at all, no place to get water. And the showers never got hotter than lukewarm! Overall not a good place for the price (there are cheaper with better service).

Gamma och sliten lägenheten

Dålig beskrivning och skyltning för lägenheten, fick leta nästa 1 timmar, bad hjälp på gatan, tillsammans med någon annan hittade vi lägenheten efter lång tid! Glömde nycklarna i på insidan, dörren låste sig fick betala 113 Euro för nyckel service. Värsta upplevelse.
