I stayed at this property several years ago when I first ventured into Washington DC. Remembering the good experience I had, I rebooked this hotel and was surprised to see that it had undergone a good remodel. The hotel looked very nice and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was also surrounded by a series of restaurants that were literally across the street that you could walk to. My only complaints include the fact that the hotel did not offer a shuttle service to the Metro station like it used to, the dining room was turned into a restaurant/bar which took away the complimentary breakfast you got in the morning, and the pillows were rather flat and should definitely be upgraded for what you are being charged to stay there. Aside from those small things, the overall experience was great.

Six day stay

We did have an issue with our room on 7th floor. Very loud humming in the bathroom (73 decibels!). Front desk moved to us to 6th floor. They did it happily and efficiently. The two young men that worked the later shift at the front desk were amazing! Definitely would stay there again!

The best western was excellent. The check-in staff the lobby everything about this hotel was excellent. The bed was super comfortable. My only complaint was we had a barking dog next to our room and we had to move. I have no issue with pets in the hotel at all, but they cannot move us to a pet free floor but luckily they had a room on another floor. They could move us too. They were very courteous and like I said, I appreciate being able to bring pets in the hotel but a barking dog we could not sleep next to.
