A very clean and comfy place in a great location to everything in the area. Some things need to be updated/repaired but it did not detract from our stay. We would certainly stay again if we have the opportunity.
We dont live far but it was a wonderful little getaway. The location is perfect and near everything in town. The Polar Bear unit was awesome , very clean with a jacuzzi tub in middle of luving room . It was great Relax and watch a movie. Equipped with everything you need. The bed and pillow are very comfortable .
This was an excellent choice for our Big Bear stay! Centrally located in âThe Villageâ with all the buzz of the businesses, but without the bother of being right on the busy street. Itâs a very short walk from a park with lake shore access. The accommodations itself is a great intersection of everything you want new (linens, applicants, floor, paint) while being rustic and cute, like the quality log cabin bed, and just the right amount of kitschy decor that adds and doesnât take away from the clean feel of the unit. The staff were also friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again for our next trip to Big Bear!
I enjoyed my stay and Iâd stay again but it wasnât as smooth as I would have liked. I was worried when I didnât have the check in information the day of but finally got it. They wouldnât give me the keypad code and said I needed to come into the office. Then they said that nobody would be at the office when I got there and that I needed to text them my drivers license. Of course I was driving there at the time but I pulled over and did sent it. Then they gave me the code. They said I needed to come back to the office when they returned to sign docs which I did, on foot, but no one was there. Itâs a great place to walk around to everything. When they returned they asked me to come back I explained that I was on foot and they said it was fine but I had to get back there before 8 PM so I had to cut my dinner plans short. So that part of it was a bit of a hassle. But the people were very kind.Itâs a beautiful place but I was disappointed that the fireplace wasnât working and you could tell that somebody had attempted to turn it on. They had the TV on when I walked in playing relaxing music to videos of snow which was nice. I wish they would have fixed the fire place before I got there. I didnât realize it until I was just about to get into the hot tub so I wasnât about to call maintenance person over at that time. Regarding the hot tub. Next time I would stay upstairs because the blinds have gaps large enough to see through the windows so that was uncomfortable.
Great location smack dab in the middle of the village.
Bed is firm, so if you like that, this is perfect.
Could use some updated furniture in living room and dining room.
Other than that good stay. We would definitely stay again.
It was my first time at Big Bear Lake, and Iâm really glad my partner and I stayed here! Walkable distance to all the shops and restaurants. Not much nightlife around, but you donât really need it when you have a jacuzzi to go home to!! That was our favorite part of our stay. We stayed outdoors a majority of the time, and it was nice to soak in the tub after a long day out. Thank you SoCal Vacations!
Very nice and quiet. Ground floor in case you have trouble with stairs. Really, the only thing Iâd change: the couch was a futon. You probably know what that means - it was so hard and painful I couldnât sit on it for more than a few minutes. My tailbone is still sore!
