Not Our First Choice for a Future Stay

When we first arrived, we were a bit nervous about the condition of the exterior. We checked in late, and the staff member at the desk was friendly, though I did have to remind him to return my credit card after he only handed back my driver’s license. This property has two separate buildings, and our room was in the one not connected to the front desk. The key card system on that building’s door was not functioning properly, which allowed access without scanning a card—definitely a security concern. The room itself had a musty smell upon arrival. Once we turned on the AC, condensation began leaking onto the carpet. On a positive note, the whirlpool tub and shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast ended earlier than we expected, so we missed out (our fault there). The pool looked clean from a distance, but we didn’t have time to use it. Overall, it served its purpose as a place to sleep for the night, but we wouldn’t go out of our way to stay here again.

We were traveling with 2 dogs and they gave us a dog room because the bathhroom was all scratched up on the door and wall and the front door is torn up and you can see day light from under the door, we had like 5 flies in our room that we had to kill and right outside the room was a trash can that was over flowing with trash and the flies were coming in our room eveytime we opened the door. My dogs are great dogs I dont have any issues but I paid 200 for 1 night to stay in a horrible room. You should fix any damages that is done from other dogs I should not have to stay in a room like that just because i jave dogs with me. Total i paid 250 with dog fee and I will never stay here again. That is why i gave 1 star

Lack of security

There is a gas grill shelter at the third back building where several company guests were partying and left their mess behind. They were urinating in the grass when I pulled into the parking spaces. I had to pick up glass beer bottles so we could leave the parking lot. The ice machine was not working. The entry doors do not have security locks so anyone and their brother can enter the hotel at any time. When I reported the party and garbage, the front desk said they cannot see the back building because they do NOT have security cameras back there. So anything can happen to someone unloading their car and anyone can enter the hotel at that door that does not have a security lock and they would never know. Then I found a cockroach on the sheer curtains the second night. Would not stay there again and certainly not for the price.

The bathtubs were very slippery. As senior citizens we will choose an ADA room next time. We were also concerned for our safety because the rear doors were not locked at night.

The stay was acceptable, but I would not choose to return. While the hotel has been updated with fresh paint, it still feels dated overall. It appears to cater primarily to work crews, as evidenced by the numerous construction vehicles on-site. There were also several guests sitting outside their rooms in camping chairs, smoking, which made the atmosphere feel less comfortable. Additionally, the room would benefit from a thorough deep cleaning. The front desk woman was very kind and professional.
