The entire check in was a nightmare. Our rooms weren’t ready at 4 we had to just sit around with luggage till almost 8pm waiting to get into a room. Most of the staff especially at the pool area were rude and we could never get service. The elevators were very slow or out of service majority of our stay and ended up having to go up or down 15 flights of stairs. Apparently when we left our room someone came to change our garbages and decided to help themselves to money we had in our room.

Only down sides to this property is check in took forever. Our check in time was 4PM, we were told that our room still needed to be inspected. We finally were allowed to go to our room at 6 PM. Also the elevator waits are a bit long but other than that it was a wonderful stay and my children LOVED IT!

Property and staff was quite nice, however, the prices for food and drinks are outrageous. Not to mention the scam at the arcade. You pay money to receive credits, but the games cost are partial credits, i.e. 7.10 to play a particular game. I don't mind paying good money for good things but I absolutely despise getting swindled. It's the old theater and carnival trick of getting you to pay an entry fee and then raising the prices of the items inside the establishment. Pathetic really.

The check in process was horrible, check in was at 4 pm. We were there at 4:15 and did not get a room until 8:40 pm. Most of the staff were so rude and while waiting on you they were busy talking to coworkers about their schedules and what time they were getting off.

LATE check in and dirty room

I waited 4 hours past check in time for my room - literally sitting on the floor of the lobby. In that 4 hours, I wasn't offered even a bottled water, much less anything else. I wasn't given any updates unless I asked every couple of hours. After 4 hours, I was placed in a room. Suddenly once I started crying in front of guests at the front desk - hundreds of whom were getting their rooms ahead of me without issues, a room magically appeared. It wasn't my intended room, and was 9 floors lower than the corner view room I was supposed to have. This room looked like no one had stayed in it for a very long time. It was missing several amenities such as a desk chair (I planned to work during my stay) and the towels (see picture of the bathmat I had hanging on the shower door) were so bad that people didn't believe me so I had to take pictures of them. There was not even a single drop of body wash/shampoo/conditioner in the shower containers. I had to run to Walgreens to buy all of that because I wasn't about to ask for anything else from these people. I was also told that I would get half off of my bill by the front desk, and after looking at my credit card statement, that was a pretty bold lie they told. You couldn't pay me to stay here again and I will be making it my mission to make sure that everyone knows about this experience.

Very disappointed. Had to wait an hour and a half to get a room, only reason I knew my room was ready was because I stood in line for 30 minutes to ask about it. (Was told I would get a phone call when ready) The resort was very understaffed, we waited for everything. (The staff that was there was Amazing). They ran out of food and liquor at numerous places. Definitely not what we expected and unfortunately will not be back.

The beds were very hard, there was used shampoo, conditioner & body wash bottles in the shower. The room was hot & took forever to cool off. I could hear people in the room next to me or above me using the bathroom. The cafe to get coffee was horrible no one knew what was in the coffee & filled it up with syrup along with telling me everything is frozen & couldn’t tell me what a bear claw was! I got drinks at the pool that tasted like non alcoholic beverages & I rarely drink. For the prices paid for room & food there is no way I’ll ever go back. The front desk when checking in was the only good experience I had they were very nice. I truly hope the people working there get customer service classes & knowledge of what is being sold. This was the first vacation I’ve been able to go on & I wanted to have a good time with my son & it didn’t happen. I know nothing is perfect but to pay as much money as I did just for the room alone I expected more. I was also told several times by people working there to go to other places to eat outside of margaritaville. That should never be done unless there is something I wanted that wasn’t attainable there.

There was hair in my unit the air-conditioning was dirty and didnot work. There was an employee Fat-Shaming my grandbaby. However the people at the service counter was okay and tried to make is feel welcomed, it was just too much being unsanitary. Who wants someone else's hair in there room😒💰💰💰

We had a great time there. The beds were a little hard for us. Food was ok. Internet access was fast. We came for the lazy river and we loved how small it was and could always see our kids as we float. My only complaint was there wasn't enough tubes. Next time I'll bring my own. The kids had a blast in the pool. We even got to see a mermaid. The pool area is slippery without water shoes. The arcade was fun and had something for everyone.
