There was a very noisy person staying in the room above us, playing loud music and dragging his chair back and forth, back and forth. First I went to the front desk to complain, then my husband went a second time to complain. The gentleman at the front did go and speak to the person staying above us. The music lessened but the noise continued. We had to rush out in the morning so we called from the car to speak to someone. We had had a terrible night and felt that some sort of compensation was only fair. Nobody has called me back. This is the Red Roof Inn in Binghamton. Not nice. We're very disappointed.

When people from other rooms opened the door it sounds like they are entering your room . For breakfast there was only cereal and coffee was the worst.

Very convenient from the highway and easy parking. The property itself was not quiet. There was a lot of noise all night, not just other guests - sounds like furniture being moved, banging, etc. Pillows were not comfortable for my preference.

I would like to note that I have never posted a negative review about anything online. But I cannot let this go. When we arrived, we were placed in a room that smelled like smoke and mold. The smell was so bad we walked straight back out and went back to the front desk to ask for a new room. The next room they put us in smelled better but the sheets did not cover the mattress, the mattress had stains on it, the lamp shade was ripped, the leather on the chair in the corner was rubbed away and the bathroom was filthy. It felt like a hotel you rent by the hour. Not a place we paid $300 to stay at after dropping our daughter at college. After the second room, we told them we could not stay at their inn. They indicated they would give us a refund if we contacted them through Expedia. We did that and they refused to honor the refund. DO NOT STAY AT THIS INN. YOU WILL REGRET IT.
