The day of my check in (Sunday, Oct. 19th). I called to see if I could possibly check in a few minutes early and was told by a staffer by the name of Shirl (who was very rude and off putting) that she didn’t know because the hotel was booked and she hadn’t spoken to a manager. She refused to confirm whether I could check in early or not. When I got to the hotel, I was the only person at the time checking in and the attendant didn’t know what I was talking about. I was comfy and very frazzled by the attitude of the person I spoke to.

Workout room really nice

Room was nice on the top floor, some wall damage in the bathroom and somehow we found a salamander running around the shower. The workout center was super clean with all the latest equipment, really nice. Only complaint is our view was of the roof of the rest of the hotel and it was just gross looking. But I guess there’s not much to do about that. Breakfast was really yummy but was surprised we were charged, thought it was complimentary.

The hotel itself is very nice. Rooms are clean and spacious. However, I wasn’t prepared for the added cost of parking and lack of continental breakfast. For the price of the rooms, I assumed there would be things that came with it. It is somewhat difficult to get out onto the main highway from the hotel. Again, beautiful hotel, but probably won’t stay there again with kids.

Place was nice and good condition. Issues though with higher floors. Hot water takes a while to get there and ice machines not functioning. TV remotes didn’t work either, after getting 3, had to manage them just to change the channel and turn it off.
