I was down there for a volunteer shift for the world games. We got finished early on one day and I checked in early with a fee of $40. When we got to our room our television did not work and the towels were not placed in there either. We called the front desk and they swapped rooms for us. The TV did work however the bed made a terrible noise anytime you moved. It sounded like a metal baking sheet being hit. The rooms were not clean and there were long black hairs everywhere in the room. It was okay night but definitely would not stay there again.

Staff handed me 2 towels at check in. There were none in room and no rags. Room had dirty water in toilet, which I believe was rust. Rusty water came out of faucets. Took a while to clear up for shower. Bed made noise every time I moved. Grout was dirty. Fan in bathroom hanging. Coffee maker leaked all over the place. Door didn’t shut completely without help. Bathroom door would not lock. Fruit at breakfast was not fresh. Only positive was AC worked fine.

Looked like a new tub, new sink area, possibly even a new toilet. Dove products on the wall above the tub was nice. Only a small amount of body wash was left, but a mini Dove bar of soap was at the sink that we utilized. Quiet stay. Very thankful for that. For the price, was very good. Would return if needed to do so.

Building is old and dirty. Definitely not the norm for a stay at a La Quinta. Kids running up and down the hallway all hours of the night and a party going on in the parking lot. Not much rest for travelers!
