The room was ridiculously hot and it was obvious the air conditioning, despite being on, was not working. I was offered a fan after complaining but it made little to no difference.

Great hotel but bad aircon

Excellent friendly staff, room was lovely only downside was it was a very hot day and the air con wasnt very good so slept in an uncomfortably hot room.

Air con broken and no communication at check in really poor !! Hotel could have advised guest booked before arrival too so then you have a choice on what you want to do. Rooms like an oven / very uncomfortable and just fans in room which done nothing.

Property was clean, and good location to mailbox and town centre. Though room was spacious, it lacked the luxury feel, so felt quite basic. Had asked for a higher floor when I checked in (from floor 7 city view), and the receptionist let me know that it may be warmer as the air con doesn't work as well with the sun coming in, but failed to mentioned that my new view was a brick wall, which wasn't great at all. Overall, the stay was okay.

Great service very comfortable room.

The hotel was great. The check-in was smooth and really efficient so we were up in our room within a couple of minutes we were staying because we were going to a concert in Birmingham when we got back. The bar still have people in it so we were able to have a drink the bar man was pleasant efficient and it was a very pleasant day. Breakfast has the variety that you would expect for a standard hotel stay and again the staff were really helpful and polite. Really appreciate the later checkout as well.

My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and this was the perfect spot. The only feedback I have is that room was so warm we had to borrow a fan, and that the breakfast was a little disappointing for the money we spent.
