My family and I had a pleasant stay. I was a bit worried due to the reviews written but didn't back out due to location. It was either going to be a hit or miss. It was a hit for many reasons. The staff was kind. The inside of the hotel was unique due the layout of the hotel. The location was lovely, had the opportunity to explore so many residential streets as well as shops nearby on a sunny Sunday after checking out before heading back to South Carolina.

Was a little nervous reading some of the reviews, but our corporate office is basically in the same parking lot so gave it a try. my room was freshly remodeled and very nice. Looked like new carpet, furniture, paint. The only reason I gave the room four stars was the shower was a little problematic getting the temperature correct and the water pressure was very low. Went elsewhere for breakfast, so cannot comment on that, but the reception yesterday evening was very nice. Staff does a great job of asking the right questions. Would stay there again.

Get what you pay for I guess. This hotel was not clean and smelled, would never stay there again. Our floor stuck due to what seems to be a water leak as there were air moving fans trying to dry out the carpet but it stunk terribly.

Unsafe and dangerous

Checked in - go to the room and I hear the tv on I open it but I keep the door open and there is a guy in my room So i quickly close it and leave and go downstairs tell them I need a new room and ask where do I need to park too and he was like oh your black truck is fine where it is whickh was weird because I didn’t drive in the front and so that was a little creepy. And I was like I need a new room. And he was like hmm ok and then a different guy walked in and kinda stood behind me . I got new room and I went to get in the elevator and that guy behind me doesn’t check in and comes get on the elevator with me and I asked him what floor and he said ohh umm 4 and I was on floor 3 and so I click 3 and and I get off at 3 and he was like oh I’m 3 too and so I was like ohh ok and I start walking to my room and he follows me and then I was said oh actually I’m gonna go get a snack so he didn’t follow me to my room or know what room I’m in. I went back down but so did he and I was just gonna sit in the lobby until he left and finally he went outside to smoke and I quickly headed up to my room which was a weird setup conference room with a room off of it and has a joint room share the conference room so someone has access to my room. I locked & bolted my room and I later heard someone try to open it when I was unpacking like I heard someone trying the door handle to open it- very scary. Made it through the night and breakfast =Raisin Bran, wheat bread, old sausage and cranberry juice

Pictures online look nothing like what the actual rooms and hotel look like. If we hadn’t already left the actual gate area of the airport we would have rather slept there instead of the room at this hotel. Wouldn’t recommend unless it’s your very last resort, which it was ours.

Our room hey has to be rekeyed 4 times. Was told pool is working but when we got there they said we could swim if we pay $5,000 if not then pool closed. We stayed there to use the pool had we known it was closed unless you wanted to pay $5,000 we would have stayed somewhere else

We enjoyed staying here! It was so clean and smelled amazing as soon as you walked in the hotel. We stayed here on our way to the beach! It was a great location and service was great although I think they need more help at the front desk! We will definitely stay here again!

I did not like anything about this hotel. I was locked out of the room, I was told they had no more rooms.available, another room mysteriously became available, and when we went to move into the room, the room was filthy. I don't know if tgere was a service charge for being a third party provider, but I would like my money refunded. We had to find another hotel to stay in.

It smelled like smoke upon entry into the lobby. One of the elevators does not go to the correct floor when you press the button. The furnishings look outdated. The sheets in my room were stained and the man at the desk did not have anymore so he switched my room. The first room also did not have any batteries in the smoke detector. One of the walls was filthy in the second room. I chose this hotel because it is literally right at the airport, but I would not return again.
