In addition to the very nice staff the Day's Inn was conveniently located for the areas I wanted to visit (Black River State Forest). It was also within easy walking distance to EV fast charging so that I could relax in my room as my car was being charged.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast includes make-your-own omlettes and freshly made pancakes. The only negatives were the other guests who were loud in the hallways late at night and the fact that the desk, nightstands, and other surfaces had not been cleaned before I checked in.

Hotel wasn’t terrible. The bedding has no weight to it and they’re paper thin. Wasn’t prepared to be cold all night and unable to sleep w out a weighted comforter. Noted to bring my own bedding next time. Bed was also “lumpy” and could feel the springs.

We checked in and the rooms air was already on at 60 degrees. Which was fine because it was hot and muggy. The room was clean the breakfast was pretty good. Maybe a little more selection and some sausage or bacon would be great. Would stay again.

It wasn't terrible, but the room had a musty cigarret smell. I also noticed a paper towel wrapped around the fire alarm. I suspect the one of the previous customers decided they were going to smoke in it anyway so they wet the paper towel and wrapped it around the fire alarm so they could smoke in the room. Also the alarm clock in the room kept going off 15 minutes after midnight. I could not figure out how to set it so it wouldn't go off anymore. Other than that the stay was ok.
