The member of staff at check in (on 23.10.25) was extremely helpful as our room required to be changed. He telephoned to make us aware ahead of our arrival and dealt with everything professionally when we arrived to check in. Thanks to him our experience was very good and we thanked him for that. The food was all ideal and the room was clean, comfortable, safe and quiet. Would be happy to stay here again.

The shower flooded the bathroom floor, the drain was blocked. Water was flowing in to the bedroom area. We had to go to reception to get extra towels to mop up the water and to place on the floor so that we would not slip on the floor and to unblock the drain ourselves which was not very pleasant. Reception did say we should have called & they would have got maintenance, bit difficult when you’re soaking wet and very tired.

Poor unfriendly staff at check in - door card didn’t work the lifts - drugs being smoked in the corridor - very dirty windows and dusty room . Disappointing Superior Room

Check-in was quick and staff friendly. I was given a top floor room and first impression was it was big and had a nice looking shower room (no bath). When I started to look round the room, I noticed the net curtain at the window had a stain. The tea & coffee area was definitely not up to standard, the tray had dust, the kettle and glasses needed cleaning and the wall at the back was not clean. The shower looked great, but lacked water pressure. The cooked breakfast was again below standard, the hash brown was the worst I've had in any hotel. The orange juice was almost clear water. When I tried to check out, no staff on the desk, so I just left the key card on the desk and walked out. All in all not a great stay and definitely not worth paying a premium price.

Disappointing

This hotel is on a service park and rather isolated but near a major road junction. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Our accessible room was ok, clean but sparsely furnished. The hotel felt rather soulless. Breakfast was supposed to be available until 10am. We arrived at 9.30 most of the hot items were missing and not replaced. There was nobody around to ask for replacements. Very disappointing. I must say that our previous stay at this hotel was much better.
