There is nothing around this place so you have to travel to get food. The breakfast was okay, there’s a do it yourself waffle maker which we liked. The property is older but they do the best with what they’ve got. We’d stay here again if we were visiting Radford but it’s too far from Virginia Tech and Blackford.

Unlike many other La Quintas visited, Radford is a bit run-down, needing a makeover. Most of the usual La Quinta expectations were met: clean & comfortable. But the overall condition needs a facelift to stay in line with usual expectations.

The staff is wonderful every time I stay here to visit my son at college. The girl who works the front desk in the mornings is so polite and helpful. The rooms are older but clean. The free breakfast is helpful and not bad.
