Due to the Atlantic Inn not being able to accommodate guests for safety reasons, we were upgraded to their Sister hotel, The Rose Farm Inn which was lovely. We loved the Jacuzzi in our room. The communication was terrific.
In early May, my wife and I stayed 5 nights at the Atlantic Inn, a wonderful, quiet, historic hotel on Block Island. Its location on high ground commands views of the historic harbor and is a short walking distance to the town. The Inn was serviced by a friendly, knowledgeable staff, who remembered our interests and often offered insightful suggestions. Our room was cosy and clean. The complimentary coffee and teas available in the lobby are of excellent quality and are offered throughout the day. We plan to return on future visits.
From beginning to end, our stay at The Atlantic was incomparable! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms and grounds were maintained beautifully and the view was spectacular!
We had a lovely two night stay. The room, the 5 oâclock cocktails at the cozy bar and a wonderful meal on our first night was much appreciated. Iâve been going to Block Island for many years and this first stay at the Atlantic Inn was great. A short walk to town and to Water Street, although a fairly steep hill between, was fun and not too bad.
The price does not match what you expect. For 600+ a night, you would think a TV in the room, complimentary waters (like most hotels do), or towels that fit an adult body would have the bare minimum of service. There is a resort fee which I am not sure what that applies for since they donât offer much.
I would not return nor recommend this hotel to others. I actually told friends of mine that they should look at any other place because I donât think itâs worth the cost.
Really enjoyed our first trip to Block Island and staying at the Atlantic Inn! We had a 2nd floor room with an ocean view and king size bed.
PROS: staff was super sweet; check in and check out easy and accommodating- rose on check in; restaurant for dinner lovely, drinks on porch and lawn lovely; location was close enough to town to walk but far enough to be quiet (the hill HARD on the bike tho haha).
CONS: room had tiny bath and window that would not stay open- shower the size of a phone booth & no closet; breakfast was a waste of money- better to walk to town; no designated entry; could have offered bikes for rent; was our 1 year anniversary and even though i mentioned it to the reception staff and dining staff- no one did anything special- not even a note in the room- sort of a let down.
