Location was amazing, and a free tour of the alpaca farm was awesome! The rental was not as clean as I've seen other places. But all in all a cute little weekend getaway!
We wanted a place to get away and relax for a weekend and we found it! Very nice and quiet space. Our dog definitely enjoyed the deck and backyard, as did we! Highly recommend!!
This adorable and historic bungalow was perfect for the 3 nights my sister and I were visiting. It has everything you could possibly need and is located on a beautiful and quiet property. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling through this region!
Suited our needs (2 adults & 1 dog) perfectly. Loved seeing the special cattle across the street all day. Generously sized deck overlooking beautiful wooded area in the back.
Thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. Mark, the owner, was very pleasant and the Alpaca farm was beautiful. Perfect place for us to stay and visit our niece. Super quiet with lots of birds in the back wooded area. Accommodating pets was really appreciated and our dog loved it as well. I highly recommend it and will stay there again one day.
The property was as described. It was super clean and cozy. We had everything we needed and it accommodated our group of 6 comfortably. The alpaca farm is a nice feature and our girls loved visiting and feeding the animals. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful and provided everything we needed. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.
The bungalow was exactly what we needed...something secluded within the areas we wanted to explore. Niagra Falls and Watkins Glenn state park are a must. Mark was great, super nice! He gave us a tour of his alpaca farm, Lazy Acres was beautiful.
The house is great, bed comfy and love that it is across street from a fun Alpaca farm that we toured (and purchased a few early Christmas presents!). The owners left a light and the AC on so comfortable from the start! Also this is a good spot to use when touring around Canandaigua and Honeoye Falls. And sitting on deck saw a couple deer in the backyardâ
We loved the location of the property, it was quaint and serene. Comfortable beds, well-furnished deck with nice amenities. Thank you for your understanding letting us check out later. We will come back again.
I was really busy but when I had time to relax it was perfect. The back yard was so relaxing listening to all the birds and loved seeing the Scottish Highlanders across the street. Highly recommended.
The colonial character is excellent. Very peaceful and quiet . The deck overlooks a wooded area. My wife enjoyed touring the Alpaca farm. Mark was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place .
We stayed a couple nights at the Bungalow, and enjoyed a nice quiet time. The two hundred year-old place has a lot of charm and quaintness and being in the Finger Lakes region is a real plusâthere is so much to see and do.
Mark, the host, was quite congenial. He showed us around his Alpaca farm which was interesting and informative. Mark also pointed out the top attractions in the region and even marked a map for us to help with navigation.
Quaint bungalow in a beautiful country setting. We stayed 2 nights and were gone most of the day for graduation celebrations at RIT. We didnt use any of the kitchen appliances other than refrigerator but had everything you would need. I would recommend for a small group as the 2 full beds were in the same room upstairs. We did not use the futon. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely deck for relaxing. Make sure you visit the alpaca farm , it was delightful!
This is a lovely little saltbox cabin in a rural setting close to several points of interest. The tin roof was a wonderful addition on our rainy weekend, and the critters seem to like it too as they scurried over it in the early morning hours. The backyard terrain was not amenable to older folks and dogs especially when wet but there are wonderful country roads to explore and get that morning walk in. My dog loved the cows, alpacas, and chickens he met on our walks. Very few staples in the pantry, and a decent grocery store is 30 mins away so keep that in mind as you come in for that first night.
The place was nice. The owners were very friendly and responsive. The cabin is rustic and set in the woods / country. It met our needs just fine, but you do have to remember where you are- This is a secluded cabin on an Alpaca farm in the woods. There will be flies/bugs, etc. Pack some bug spray and get out and enjoy the beautiful country setting! The cabin itself is tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked and the beds were comfortable!
Our family of 5 plus a pup really enjoyed our stay at the Bungalow. It had plenty of amenities, we were pleasantly surprised at the kitchen stocked with dishes, appliances, cookware, and more! Our littles enjoyed their comfortable beds while mom and dad were comfortable on the pull out sofa bed. The Bungalow was quaint, charming, and a wonderful place for our family to stay for a few days while we house hunted. Mark and Sharon were great at communicating and accommodating our family on short notice. Our children are still raving about the cozy Bungalow. We will definitely keep it in mind the next time we need a weekend away!
