(VERY IMPORTANT: This is a lovely two room apartment. You will NOT have the entire home to yourself! If this is fine with you, read on....) "Peace" is a two room apartment with a bedroom (Queen bed,) private bathroom, and an adjoining room that contains a kitchenette, dining table, and sleeper-sofa. This apartment is positioned on the lower level of the owner's log home. The apartment has a kitchenette, so you can bring your own food to be stored in the minifridge or be heated in the microwave. There is a small drip coffee maker. WiFi is available. There is outdoor seating, a chiminea, a charcoal grill, and a (shared) hot tub for guests' use. This accommodation is nestled on the border of Yellowwood State Forest with 40 acres of wooded property to explore and lots of nearby hiking trails. "Peace is situated halfway between Bloomington/IU and the artist village of Nashville. (Ask about booking both “Peace” and “Quiet” apartments together for larger groups.)

PLEASE NOTE: This two room apartment is on the lower level of the owner's private residence. You will not have access to the entire home. You will enter your apartment through a private guest entrance.

This two room rental was perfect for my family of three. It would be nice to have a TV in the living room/ dining area. Since my son stayed in that room on the couch and didn't want to watch what was on our TV, it would have been nice if he had a TV to watch. However, he had his phone so it was not a big deal for him.

Struggled finding the email and communicating with the owner. Their emails went to junk and when I text they were short. Upon arrival, the sign is hidden for parking by the other space/vehicle. It snowed during the night and they did not clear pathways or driveway. It was hard to get out of the basement and the drive way.

I had an amazing stay at this VRBO! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing trip. The highlight was definitely the hot tub—it was spotless, well-maintained, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The host was friendly and provided clear instructions, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The location was peaceful and private, yet still convenient to nearby attractions. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy retreat

What a Gem

Great find just a short drive from Bloomington and halfway to the cute little historic town of Nashville, IN. The apartment was super clean except for spider webs which is to be expect in a cabin in the woods. It would not have been conducive to have guests staying in the living room because the bathroom is in the bedroom.

It is not lake front property or steps from the lake. The lake is a local attraction several miles away. The host was absolutely the best you can ask for and the property is beautiful. Wasn’t what we were expecting but definitely not disappointed. Will definitely book again in the future . Would be 5 stars for cleanliness but we had to remove a lot of cobwebs and live spiders
