Cabin needs some maintenance and deep cleaning. Very dusty and pet hair on floors. We sneezed and had allergy problems the whole time. TV remote in living room needs batteries. The one in the bedroom didn’t work at all, therefore, no tv in there. Toilet has a leak that runs and makes noise constantly. Sliding door difficult to open and close. Dimmer switch in dining room didn’t dim, only on and off. All appliances worked well and good supply of kitchen utensils.

Loved the cabin!

We loved staying here!! Beds were made and comfortable. Cabin Was very clean and kitchen stocked with everything you might need. Loved the jacuzzi and fire pit in the back near the creek. Great little place!!

Great time with Dogs

Spent 2 days with my wife and our 2 dogs in the cabin. The cabin was great. It was very cozy for the 2 of us. Has an upstairs bedroom that could accommodate another couple. Our dogs loved the enclosed patios to walk around. We would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Great cabin, poor management

Loved the cabin. Tricky to get to without at least an SUV. One lane roadway into the property so be prepared to drop a wheel off the pavement if encountering on-coming traffic. Not good with low ground clearance. Cabin very nice with a great hot tub and nice kitchen. Tried to light the fireplace and would not light. Emailed Vacasa, the property management, at least twice, and texted, and never got a response. Never got to use it. I recommend the cabin but I will probably never use Vacasa again and try to book via owners instead.

Nice But...

The inside of the cabin was nice and clean and It was relaxing to sit on the screened in porch and read. We were excited to get to use the hot tub when there was a break in the rain, but were disappointed that there was no privacy wall, as there is a house literally right next door. Some sort of roof would be nice over the hot tub too, so that you can still enjoy it during rainy days. We were looking forward to cooking on the grill, but found that both propane tanks sitting by the grill were empty. There is a Keurig coffee maker, but make sure to bring your own k-pods. Any cabin we have stayed in before has left a few k-pods, a few tea bags, and youre basic spices for cooking. This particular cabin did not. Overall the disappointment outweighed the delight, and sadly we wouldn't recommend.

Quiet, Quaint - But watch out for the ANTS

This was a cute and quiet location. We stayed for a week for our family vacation. The check in was a bit hectic. The door code they send is not for the actual door, so don't be confused when you get there. We had to call at 8pm when we arrived to get help finding the key lock box. The area surrounding this cabin (trails & creek are awesome) is worth a 5 star review, but it isn't getting one, unfortunately. We get there late at night so we go grocery shopping early the next day, then we adventure out to explore for several hours. Beautiful area. Stunning. The next day we are gone all day, when we got back there were ants in ALL the food we had purchased. So, we had to go grocery shopping again to repurchase all the food we had just bought for the week. The hot tub was disgusting. Just disgusting. A dark brown ring around the surface of the water (it needs a good scrub). Needless to say, something we weren't able to use. Bring your own paper towels & toilet paper if you plan on arriving late, because there is none, nor any trash bags. The general cleanliness is what you'd typically expect of a cabin in the woods, but the ants in the kitchen were almost unbearable.

Great peaceful place

The cabin was great! It was peaceful and quiet around and the scenery was beautiful! The creek that ran through the property was nice also, and listening to it was relaxing. Went for a hike through the woods with my 5 year old and it was very fun and interesting. She saw alot of different things like 5 different types of mushrooms, big snails about the size of a dollar coin, some wild Turkeys. We also found deer tracks and then saw the deer up on the mountainside. We finished the night off with a dip in the jacuzzi. We will definitely stay here again in the future! I reccomend 10/10!

Loved it after a couple repairs made!

It was a perfect little cabin and very clean! The only issues were the hot tub was not heating and working the day we got there and the toilet was not flushing. After a long wait with customer service we got the issue reported and then a property manager began communicating with me directly. The repairs were made the next day and we had to be out of the cabin during that time. It was a bit of an inconvenience but at least we were able to use the hot tub and flush the toilet after that. We missed out on 1 day of using the hot tub which was the whole reason we selected this cabin. Otherwise the cabin was clean and charming! It was as secluded as the listing showed as there was a cabin across the creek but no one was there during our stay! Would stay here again!

Peaceful getaway

A perfect place to get away and relax! The weather kept me from my hiking plans, but I was perfectly happy hanging around the wrap around porch watching the storm! The pup played around in the creek and it was like staying in the middle of a beautiful hiking trail! The cabin did have a slight odor but was very cute and clean. Wish I would have had more time there and would definitely stay again!
