Palmetto Bluff May River Carriage House

This home was absolutely beautiful - clean and newly decorated - and we were very comfortable during our 3night stay. However the check in process was challenging. The front gate was not prepared for our arrival and we spent several minutes trying to connect with someone at the concierge service who could help us out. It was a rough beginning to an otherwise perfect stay

Wonderful guest cottage in the back of Palmetto Bluff. Beautifully designed and well equipped. Loved morning coffee on the balcony, beautiful sunrises on my morning walk. and bike rides with the girls via the River Rd path to Montage for dinner and spa. Great Stay

The Carriage Home was perfect for our family needs. The owner was extraordinarily helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the Carriage Home was an excellent place to stay for our family of five. Palmetto Bluff is quaint and peaceful yet plenty of activities for the children. I’m hopeful the Community will resolve its apparent on-going dispute with homeowners as access to the Canoe Pool and Fitness Area was a big plus to the experience,

This property was beautiful, very well equipped, and everything was made seamless by the hosts! It was a tad far from our family in the area, but other than that small issue which had nothing to do with the property, we would stay again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful place and fantastic property manager

This space was just beautiful with every detail attended to. Bed was extremely comfortable, bedroom was spacious and lovely. Bathroom had a wonderful shower and full washer and dryer. Lots of space to relax on a rainy day or cook an evening meal. We enjoyed multiple evenings on our outdoor deck with a glass of wine. The property manager was unbelievable to work with, providing guidance and suggestions whenever needed. She even reached out in advance of our trip to provide different things to do and things like the food truck schedule. Finally, the community of Palmetto Bluff was just magnificent. You’re surrounded by gorgeous trees and all the natural wonders of low country. Just in our 5 days we saw countless varieties of birds, deer, fox, dolphins, turtles, alligators, and so much more. Could not recommend any more.

Our stay in Palmetto Bluff was an absolute dream! We loved the Carriage House, which was beautifully decorated, very clean and in an excellent location! The owners were extremely welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed - even if we had a number of requests! ;) We loved that the golf cart and bikes were included in our stay, as we used them every day! We will most certainly be back!

Spent a few days in the carriage house for a mother daughter getaway! It’s was so beautiful and clean! And plenty of amenities to use! Property managers were lovely to work with! We will be back!

Perfect Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our days at the carriage house. Newly built with exquisite attention to detail, the 'barn' is beautifully decorated and luxuriously cozy. The owners have thought of everything and are generous and gracious hosts. We had full access to the golf cart, bikes, SUP board, kayaks, fishing gear etc. and just didn't have enough days to squeeze it all in. We'll be back to the carriage house for another getaway and to explore more of the beauty of the Bluffs. I only hope we can get a reservation once word gets out about this charming gem!

Well appointed getaway!

We’re a family of 4 and really enjoyed our stay at the Carriage house. The space was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated and well appointed with a very comfortable bed, soft linens, plush robes and a lovely bottle of wine and cookies waiting for us. The host provided eye masks which was much appreciated by the kids sleeping in the main room. We were interested in this property because of it’s location in the Montage Palmetto Bluff community but it was a little tricky to determine which amenities were available and how we could book them. However the host was very responsive to our questions and helpful to planning our stay as not all amenities are available to guests/renters and she booked our dinner reservations and activities (clay shooting, tennis, yoga). The golf cart and bikes made our stay really fun as we could zip to the local communities. Overall, we would recommend a vacation to Palmetto Bluff and the Carriage House is a great way to enjoy the experience. The hosts really do everything they can to help you maximize your time.

Wow...what a wonderful weekend! My husband and I got away to celebrate our anniversary. The Carriage House is extremely well-appointed with so many thoughtful details. Sabrina was beyond helpful and set us up with dinners and excursions and was such a delight! She really did spoil us! We fell in love with everything about Palmetto Bluff and can’t wait to come back!

Amazing stay at The Carriage House!

Our family of four (2 adults/ 2 children) had an amazing last minute getaway weekend at the Carriage House! The space is luxurious and relaxing! The entire space is very well thought out! Our young children loved the trundle beds! The king master was very comfortable! The bathroom is better than most 5 star hotels! The kitchen is outfitted with high end appliances and stemware. We enjoyed the marsh views from the balcony while enjoying coffee in the mornings. The house is a short walk to hiking trails and the Moreland landing where you can fish, climb a treehouse, or watch the dolphins play. The golf cart and bikes included with the rental were great for getting around the resort. The property owner/ concierge went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous stay! We can't wait to return!

The perfect getaway

Our stay at Chris and Sebrina’s carriage house was perfect - couldn’t have asked for a better location. The carriage house was beautiful and brand new with everything you could possibly need including kitchen utensils, coffee maker extra sheets detergent etc. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the closet was so spacious - two of us for 8 days couldn’t even fill it! Sebrina and Chris were the perfect hosts and were available if we needed them and were very generous - providing us with their golf cart, kayaks, coolers and anything else they had to offer for a riviera. The carriage house is a two minute walk from the Moreland landing, pool and Coles restaurant - couldn’t have asked for a better location and experience! Will definitely book again!
