Our initial room was the one with the Queen bed and bunk beds. This however is located on the ally side and there is bar that is adjacent to the room. We found out that bands play there live on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9pm to 11pm on Thursday and 9-12pm on Fri and Sat. We told the front desk we would like to change rooms to the other side of hotel. They happily accommodated our request and had a great rest of our stay. I really wish they would have put the rooms with bunk on the other side of the hotel so guests with kids do not have to worry abut the noise from the bar.

We stayed a week at this hotel. Staff was super friendly. The room is really not meant to stay in for an extended time. We stayed a week. There is no closet or dresser to store your clothing. There is a rack to hang a few items. We basically lived out of our suitcases which made it difficult to stay organized. The room was on the small side which made this even harder. Since, we stayed a week they don't clean your room but do what they call a refresh. Which included towels and bed linens which was fine by us but why only have one hand towel and one wash cloth for two people? We had to ask for additional towels. The bed is super comfortable. The pillows are a bit too soft for us. Had no support. The shower!! The shower was beyond the best I've had in a hotel in awhile. The location is great! We walked everywhere with no problem. So close to museums, eateries, the capital and the parks. The parks in Boise are beautiful especially, in the fall.

Parking was easy, staff were nice enough and the room was great. The only flaw is the fact that many of the room sit in an alley, which can be loud due to garbage and delivery trucks very early in the morning.

Having reserved parking was nice! We did have to pay for it which I missed when booking but that’s okay. When we were leaving someone in the alley going to what looked like a business behind the hotel parked behind us and blocked us in. But we were able to squeeze out when we realized they weren’t coming anytime soon. There’s a coffee shop that had some food choices and alcoholic and non alcoholic options as well. The room was super cute and the beds were comfy! And the room had bath robes in it! How cool! If I’m ever looking for a hotel in Boise again, I will definitely look here!

The room was spotless. Everything about the design appeared to be intentional. We loved that it was eco friendly. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Form and Function Cafe was delicious. We loved the outdoor space and only wish the food truck hadn’t closed for the season. The location downtown is walkable to just about everything. Would love to come back and highly recommend!

Having previously stayed at The Wren, part of the same hotel group, I was excited to experience The Sparrow, and it did not disappoint! This cute and unique hotel features charming decor and a cozy atmosphere. The friendly staff made me feel right at home, and the entire place was impeccably clean. I loved the convenient location, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. Plus, the attached coffee shop served fantastic brews to kickstart my mornings. Overall, The Sparrow is a delightful spot that I highly recommend, and I can’t wait to return!

Decent property but had a slight problem at checkout with a billing charge. Four night business stay (Sun-Weds), three nights the billing was the same but one night (Tues) the charge was $38 more than the other 3 nights. When questioned the attending staff told me that the rates fluctuate daily...No other explanation, it is what is. Rude and the reply does not make sense.

While the staff was friendly, the hotel itself felt like it didn't want the guests to stay too long. The buildings have stairs with no ramp, the elevators are too small for luggage, and most room necessities must be texted and asked for. When I reached out I got help, but it felt like the staff was limited by management.

The staff was great and accommodating. The room was clean and nice. Parking is a little tough, and I wouldn’t bring a pickup or large SUV. There’s really nothing that can be done differently for parking. The city is tight for space downtown.
