Nothing to complain about

I do not agree with the complains of other guests. My superior room 514 was spacious, clean and had a stunning view over the Old Town. I had an electric kettle to make tea and coffee. Nothing was broken. The room was really quiet. The staff will surpass your expectations. The hotel is expensive but very well located so I was happy with my choice.

Good for the night on a budget

The hotel is in a great location of Bologna. Hotel staff is very nice and available 24/7. Shower heat and water pressure was good. Bed and pillows a bit hard but manageable. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise from the room above and from the neighborhood in the early hours of the morning 4-5am. If you are a very light sleeper you may need to avoid. Otherwise, this is an economical convenient choice if you’re on a budget.

very bad area, someone tried to break into our car and smashed the window. we were told there was no space in the private parking, even if we asked to reserve online via hotels.com. terrible experience

Small hotel just 3 rooms per floor, 6 floors. Super quiet, an old building but perfectly maintained. The staff was amazing, friendly smiles, and eager to help. I will definitely return to this beautiful hotel. Thank you

Good location & great receptionists but no comfort

Great location both near station and into centre. Nice area with lots of restaurants, cafes, shops and supermarkets nearby. Both Andrea and Roberto at reception were very helpful, friendly and the best part of the hotel. The rest not so good. I asked twice for a double bed and I received two beds joined together with a gap between. The shower was so small I could barely get inside and could not move once inside. Gets the award for the smallest shower I have ever seen. If you are a big person it will not work for you. Hotel was very clean and the room was spotless. I think hotel would be great if it had a good renovation

Great location

Located on a quiet side street close to Bologna Central station, clean bedroom and bathroom. Staying overnight after flying in before an onward train journey. Helpful reception staff.

It was close to the centre of city. Smelly, noisy very dated, no coffee. But, clean beds and bathroom and terrific shower. Would not recommend to Canadians. And it was quite expensive. No English TV. Staff pleasant.

I don't take pleasure in writing a poor review of this hotel because the staff seemed to do their best and it's their livelihood to work there but it was a big mistake booking this place and I did so based on the number of 10/10 ratings which must be fake reviews or written by travelers with low expectations. We realized within minutes of checking in that there were issues: a tiny room, a rock hard bed, a small and cheap shower enclosure, and no closet. I quickly returned to the front desk and asked if we could check out due to it not being to our expectations. The pleasant gentleman informed me that it was too late to reverse the charge since we had checked in already but we could check out the next day instead of staying for two nights so I accepted that and we soon went out sightseeing and for dinner. Overnight we found the room to have thin walls. We could hear a baby crying intermittently from somewhere down the hallway and at one point someone must have been having an issue getting their door to latch because they slammed it shut about five times in a row. On the positive side the room was clean and the hotel is in a decent location. The next night we checked into the nearby I Portici hotel which was only about $100 more per night but a massive upgrade in terms of quality, style, condition, vibe, etc. and it was well situated on the main street so no need to walk down quiet side streets late at night.

Clean but no breakfast.

The hotel is conveniently located near shops, restaurants and transportation we walked the narrow streets to many wonderful restaurants. Negative it is advertised that they serve breakfast as included. Not so!!! We were rudely told upon arrival that they no longer offer that service. A view of their website boast the availability of breakfast including gluten free. The hotel is basic, clean the location made our stay amazing.

Comfortable beds- room is basic- when sightseeing you don’t spend much time in your room. Front desk was extremely helpful and courteous. Spoke English, gave recommendations for dining and grocery shopping. Provide maps and areas of interest. Would recommend for those who don’t expect special amenities. Perfect for the traveler. Gabriele was the front desk clerk during our stay and he was fantastic!
