The owners made it easy to check in and communicate with them. One thing we needed was more towels and they told us how to get them ourselves quickly. The location was central and easy. The air conditioner worked well. But the unit has issues in need of repair, and they are not just cosmetic. Wallpaper is peeling, water leaked through the bathroom ceiling and there is mold on the ceiling in a couple places (bedroom and bathroom. The shower door is missing and an inadequate curtain replaces it - allowing water to get out onto the bathroom floor (between that and the ceiling leak, that's why we needed more towels). Even for a budget traveler, I do not believe this unit is up to snuff. I doubt it could pass inspection. A full bed sits on a much-too-large king or queen bedframe, which makes it difficult to move around and is aesthetically messy. The couch others noted has been replaced, so it's fine. The tiles on the shower floor are not grouted, and wobble when stepped on. The shower drain is not attached and moves, and does not cover the entire hole - it's very rough. The entire shower would not pass inspection. The stairs are narrow, and would not be easy for anyone with mobility issues (or anyone with heavy luggage). Fine for us, but people should be aware. The bathroom is quite small (the taller of us sat sideways on the toilet). Trim is missing between bathroom and main room, leaving a sharp toe-stub step. Overall, this unit is not in adequate repair to receive guests.
