The hotel was very dirty, smelly, and rundown. It looks like it hasn’t been maintained for o er 30 years. The carpet in public areas is heavily stained and worn out. The walls are damaged and in a few areas they have been patched up with unlatching paint. The first room I was given smelled like cigarettes despite a non smoking sigh on the door. The second room was ok although it didn’t look clean. The carpet looked roughly installed and was missing patches. There were blood residues on the walls. The bathroom looked old and unclean. I did t dare eating breakfast there, which was held in an area by the unused swimming pool. I read the reviews and those listing the hotel as wonderful are surely fake. Anyone who is honest would not call this place great. This place needs a thorough inspection for safety and hygiene, and to undergo a major refurbishment.

My third stay as I have to be here in Boston so regularly. Not quite as well equipped as the Avia, but much closer and easier to get downtown Boston. Again, a bit older hotel, but well kept and clean. I will be staying there again, probably several times as I conduct business in Boston.

Older hotel, but very well kept with very good amenities. So far, my favorite place to stay when in the Boston area and I've booked several more stays come. Great venue for those looking for weekend conferences and gatherings. I would highly recommend this hotel to those looking for an affordable and nice place to stay.
