Average with some good touches -but staff fell out
+ nice location close to south station and tourist spot Quincy Market etc.
+ filtered water in hallways is great (w reusable bottles đ!);
+ a decent coffee machine in the lobby room is great ( even cappuccino!)
+ restaurant in-house is great, just that pub food is not my style
+ plenty of restaurants nearby, close to tourist places (just not really close to some sort of supermarket).
- Check-in: the guy didnât feel friendly initially. I addressed it, he was a lot friendlier then.
Got me a nice room after my complaint about the room I had initially been allocated to.
- biggest upset: I had booked âdeluxe roomâ but got a rather small room with a not so huge bed and only one small window at the corner of the building with a wall coming out there (also meant zero view other than the opposite highrise building). I donât understand how that happens - or how the check-in guy didnât notice.
- my luggage hadnât arrived with my flight. It was eventually delivered to the hotel, not sure when, but when I checked with the lobby in the later morning (10 or 11am), it was sitting there! They didnât let me know ⊠:-(. I would have loved having my toiletry & other clothes. Not sure why nobody thought that was important to notify meâŠ
So, altogether not a great service. (Especially disappointing as I had read such positive reviews on staff which was a reason to book here).
- this lobby sitting area could use an upgrade (was just in CQ London - soo nice there!!)
