Got more than we expected

Due to Hotels.com messing up and not reserving us the room we requested (and received confirmation of) we arrived at the Colonial Inn and spent sometime in Reception feeling totally embarrassed that there was no record of our reservation. Thanks to a lovely Receptionist and Manager they found us some accommodation. Instead of a king room in the main historic inn that we thought we had booked they put us in Unit 1, Rebecca's House across the street with no extra to pay. Wow! A very large suite in part of a property over 300 years old. Very tastefully decorated and furnished with respect to it's age. Being from the UK it was a real treat for us to stay in this beautiful American historical property. Very clean and comfortable with a huge bed Maybe sometimes things turn out better than you think they will! As for Hotels.com ... I'm still waiting to hear from them as to what happened to our reservation ...

A Memorable, Historical Trip

We really enjoyed our stay at the Colonial Inn. The location was excellent and within walking distance to all the major attractions in town and a short drive to Lexington. The restaurants were great. We loved going to the Tavern each night. They have done an excellent job taking care of the Inn and preserving its' amazing history. I would recommend to all.

Beautiful historic place with modern amenities that we are used to having. Staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We were super tired and the bed was perfectly comfortable. Love the shades that kept the room dark for sleep, much better than traditional ones. Dinner on the on site restaurant was as good as anything we have had in very nice restaurants. I would highly recommend.

Great historical stay!

This place was excellent and so much history! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great water pressure in the shower. Location was also great. loved the tilted flooring too. The place is 250-300 years old!

Nice charming Inn!

We had a very comfy room with a separate living room area and kitchenette. The hotel feels very special and our only regret is that we only stayed one night. Concord is a charming town and we hope to go back and revisit in the future! Oh, the breakfast on the front porch was awesome and a really nice setting.

Nice Historic Inn

The Concord Colonial Inn is a nice old inn. It met expectations. The room was good sized with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was large but old. The restaurant was good. We enjoyed our stay. This is a great place if you value history over a newer hotel.

We had booked a king-sized bed and were initially given a room with a queen. We questioned the mix-up and were given an upgrade to a suite. Clean hotel, just old and in need of some updates.

The property is beautiful! I loved the small hallways, quaint rooms and how convenient the location is to everything in Concord. You can walk to everything. The one complaint is that the hallways had a very heavy smell of food. I was on the 3rd floor and it was still overwhelming. The carpets and walls could use a cleaning to help with that. My room was fresh and clean.
