The exterior of the hotel is rather unassuming, but once you enter the lobby is very nice albeit small for such a big hotel. My room was a lot bigger than I expected. It had a nice comfortable bed, decent sized couch along the window, and big windows facing south. The automatic blackout shades were a nice touch. The only negative, which this wasn’t the hotel’s fault, was work was being done outside somewhere nearby and on Friday and Monday, they started making noise very early. Otherwise the hotel itself was quiet and comfortable. The location was great - literally a 2 min walk to the Prudential center and ~5 min walk to numerous restaurants and shopping in the area. It took me about 15 mins to walk to Fenway Park from the hotel. I felt safe walking around the area even at night. Overall, great place to stay for my first Boston visit and great location. Staff was all very friendly. I’d definitely stay again if I visited Boston again.

I reserved a room with a King bed and received a room with two queens. I was told they were booked and that reservations from third party sites like Hotels.com were not guaranteed their room types. This makes me rethink using hotels.com in the future.
