For an expensive hotel, this place was kind of blah. The lobby was dark and unwelcoming. The check-in and check-out staff were perfunctory at best. The room was also nothing special — though the bed and bath linens were good — and the promised view was boring. And then at check-out I find a $35-per-night “resort fee” added to the bill. For what? Completely ridiculous. This was not in the price that Expedia said included all taxes and fees. When I return to Boston, I will be staying somewhere else.

We loved our stay at this Hyatt! The staff was so kind and welcoming and the room was comfortable and clean. Great gym and indoor pool area as well. The best part was the location. It's minutes from Boston Commons and a short walk to Boston Public Gardens, Fanueil Hall, Beacon Hill and so many other attractions. We'd love to stay again!

Steps away from China town and only 3-5min Uber to convention center. 25-50ft from Broadway area so convenient for that. Only a 5-10min walk to Boston green area. Very convenient. 10min walk to South station. Location is excellent for downtown. A little dated mainly because carpet is old (but clean). Ice machine did not work (22nd floor) or took too long to drop ice. Otherwise all aspects were good. Bed comfortable. Noise on floor was not noticeable which was nice. Check in staff were great and efficient. Request late 2:00pm checkout was granted and they knew ahead of time thanks to messaging through Hotels.com. Would stay here for the convenience and for the cost it was worth it compared to some other more expensive places.
