The property was clean however it felt in need of a rejuvenation. The room had an abudance of furniture that made it difficult to move around in. The bathroom was also cramped with a too large vanity and a toilet that was practically in room center. Beds were lacking in comfort and support with one that had difinite sag on one side where you can tell people have sat at length. Not enough towels were provided at start of stay and guest would have to go to housekeeping for new ones. The door handle on the outside was in need of repair. Door did lock and was secure but handle was not fully functioning.

Beautiful siting and location. Nice independent hotel. Some sound from the karaoke bar reaches the rooms. Pleasant location for the breakfast buffet, but the food wasn’t good and everything was styrofoam, not environmentally friendly. Needs oatmeal or Raisin Bran or other low-sugar, high-fiber cereal, and dairy-free options, like hard boiled eggs alongside the cheesy scrambled eggs.

The bathroom had stains on the inside on the door that could have either been dry blood or coffee. Either way it clearly wasnt cleaned. Also there are no elevators at this property which was hell when traveling with a child.

We got there Tuesday night and they had karaoke in the bar. I'm reasonable, I understand other people use the space. When I asked, hotel clerk said it was done at 11pm. At 11:10 I asked what time it was really ending. All I got was "soon" I think expecting a hotel to be relatively quiet by 11pn on a week day is quite reasonable. I became a Karen and asked to speak to the manager, he was unavailable, and I never heard back from him. It did finally quiet down by 11:30pm. 2nd night was OK, they had Trivia night but it wasn't too bad. The A/C is not that great, and the water pressure is pretty low. I did find a slide on the 2nd day that did increase water pressure. Soap in the BR was bar, that was kind of gross. I would not stay here again, but I guess if you're up late, it may work for you.

Please wash the bed coverings!!!

Lobby was nice. But… the bed coverings and the accent pillows in my room smelled like they had not been laundered in years. The smell of body odor of previous guests lingered in the room. The carpet in the room was a little sticky. Repairs Ned to be made to the rooms for sure. The best part of the stay was the view of the lake in the morning.
