Tried to check in after the 3pm check-in time and after driving for 6 hours and were told the person at the desk didn't know what to do and I had to wait 20 minutes until someone else came back. The shower also didn't drain well and would start to back up

Facility is set near restaurants and shops, which was a plus. The building itself is outdated. The entrance is lit by a big red light which feels a bit more like Amsterdam than a hotel in New England. One elevator was not in use. The room itself wasn’t bad, just worn.

Very bad experience. Very dirty, peeling windows with mode (green stuff), and strong bleach smell. My family and I decided to move to another hotel; we couldn't stay there. I spoke to the manager about a refund, and he simply hung up on me.

This hotel is the definition of mediocre. It’s overall very tired looking and feeling. One of the elevators wasn’t working. Despite being a non-smoking hotel, it’s sort of smelled like smoke overall. The bath towels smelled like smoke. I could definitely tell that was a pet friendly hotel because I could feel it in my lungs despite I assume a clean room. Few convenient outlets in the room; no USB plug in outlets; old microwave that didn’t heat well.

Disappointing!

Despite booking 5 months in advance when we arrived at the hotel after a long day travelling we were told we didn’t have a reservation It then became apparent they’d checked someone else into our room and charged my credit card!! We did get a room eventually however there were hairs on the toilet, in the shower and in the beds.

The property was not safe, the areas around the rooms were not safe. It was noisy all night, the smell of Marijuana was strong throughout the hallways that permeated into our room. The staff was not super friendly, very bland. While we were there a car had it's tires and rims stolen in the middle of the night. Staff said "it happens sometimes" and "police are investigating". We did not feel safe at all and were afraid the same would happen to our vehicle. Find a better place to stay if you can.

Conveniently located next to shops and dining options (walking distance) and only a 15 min drive to Salem which was the purpose of our trip. Rooms could be updated some but overall, the room was comfortable and clean. I would not only recommend, but I will also be back at another time.

Yesterday, October 17th, I left the "Do Not Disturb" signs in front of the door, but October 18 at 7:10am I took them down. Around 9:30 pm I arrived back to the room and the bed was a mess. The dirty towel was on the chair and was open. In the bathroom, there was only one folded towel near the toilet. What about the others towels ? Why don't I have new towels? Why isn't the room clean? The bathtub drain doesn't work, the water gets clogged every time when I need to take the shower, there was a pool over there. The trash cans never was clean or change it, the 3 days was there never the personal service got the trash.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. For the price of the room per night $279, it was horrible. Whatever detergent they use for their towels, i had an allergic reaction. I had to take another shower and use my sweater to dry off. The room was dark and paint chipping off. Not sure what room was used to take the photos we saw when we booked.

Would not stay again. Tip to staff, DO NOT put families with kids on upper floors. both nights heard a lot of stomping around above our heads. called to complain 1st nite and was really not taken seriously by clerk. Also may need to invest in thicker walls. Could hear people having sex next to my room that I was in with my granddaughter!!
