situation is great very close to the River. people are really kind and helpful, always a cookie of the day to share and some tea to drinkwhatever the time of day. Room was quite small and bathroom to share can be sometimes inconvenient with jetlag hours but the history of the place makes it a great place to stay to discover Boston which is to me one of the most European like cities in the US. We were on a business trip so different than a family holiday but still very glad to experience it!
Lovely alternative with real character to chain hotels. Perfectly located for exploring the town, Large room great choice for families . Breakfast is simple , good enough for us
When I arrived, I was very surprised to find out that the bathroom was not connected to the bedroom and that it was shared with the other occupants of the floor. I wasn't told when I booked. Fortunately, it was not a big deal, the bathroom was never occupied when I needed it. Also, the clim is noisy. But the rest was very satisfactory and the location of the hotel was perfect for me.
The College Club had been on my radar for a while but this was my first stay. Everything about it was excellent. Very personal, friendly service, good suggestions about the area, charming, large room, clean and quiet. The breakfast room is well-appointed and there were several options including fresh fruit, pastries, a great coffee machine with various drinks. This is hopefully my new home when I'm in Boston.
A quaint place in one of the best parts of Boston. It was nearby to public transportation. The rooms were nice and well kept and the staff was very accommodating. Coffee, fruit, and cookies were available around the clock.
I absolutely loved it! I stayed for 3 nights and it was a perfect location, next to the parks and everything you need is right there. The building itself is so lovely and cozy, the room is great. I appreciated the little details that made the stay comfortable!
What a wonderful stay for our first trip to Boston. I had researched the area to find the best place to stay and the College Club fit the bill perfectly. The green park-like boulevard right in front of the B&B was great for walking down to the park or to nearby shops/restaurants. The park is just a block away and from the park, you can easily get to many sites/restaurants/public transportation.
The College Club was a beautiful place to stay. The Connecticut room was a Lovely room with view of the boulevard. We stayed there the first week of October and the weather was perfect. We walked around a lot and felt safe doing so. We spent more per night then we typically do for lodging, but because of the great locatiob, we felt it was worth it. We turned in our rental car when arriving in Boston. Best decision for us. Very walkable city. Overall great vacation.
Shout out to head chef Nick. Very friendly and helpful. Made us feel very much at home.
