Not for me. Sandwiched between a busy road and a huge agricultural shed. Rooms are renovated but elsewhere itâs really tired (the carpets downstairs are pretty gross). Lovely staff, but no.
Amazing stay. Rooms were furnished really well, great size. Bed was super comfortable. All the staff were super welcoming and the breakfast and dinner were both delicious and reasonably priced. Great value and definitely the best stay in the area.
The property itself is a beautiful old Inn, offering large rooms and with a very well-mannered young staff. However, it is grossly overpriced for what if offers, aka an Inn in the middle of nowhere. ÂŁ120 for one room (we've been given the ÂŁ110 room for some reason) n-o-t including breakfast, and a ÂŁ15 pound surcharge for dogs which is not disclosed on Expedia. So all in all ÂŁ135. Dinner was good but management needs to do some work on the main fireplace, as the air near it was hardly breathable and that can become a health hazard not just for the clients but mainly for the poor lads behind the counter.
The heating in our room's bathroom was not working, nor was hot water from the overhead rain shower. The garden is literally filled with dog poop.
Advise to management, I hope part of my ÂŁ120 will be used to better maintain such a beautiful property.
Excellent, prompt professional staff. Room was tastefully decorated and spacious with comfortable bed and lovely toiletries.
Delicious breakfast too with some unusual additions to stand out from the usual full english offering etc.
Our 2nd visit and we hope to return again soon !!
Just amazing experience near Coningsby. Super friendly owner of the Inn and charming personal for the breakfast service as well as in the pub. The food was great as well, especially the pie that for saved for me đ
Worth a stay!!!
