The property is very nice, but be careful when booking. I was in a rush and thought I was booking the Salem Inn, and I was, but it was one of the other properties they owned. It didn’t matter in the end

We had an amazing experience at The Salem Inn! We stayed here while filming a ghost hunt for my YouTube channel ThisGhostStory, and the location did not disappoint. The atmosphere was perfect—historic, cozy, and just the right amount of spooky. We experienced a lot of paranormal activity during our stay and can’t wait to dive into the footage and start editing the video! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the inn itself is full of charm and character. If you're into history or the paranormal, this is the place to be in Salem. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay! @thisghoststory

This is a beautiful property. One block from where the tourist part of Essex Street starts. Walking distance from everything we wanted to do and see. Touchless check in made this the easiest experience.

Our stay at the Salem Inn was charming and memorable. The property itself is full of character, clean, and perfectly located for exploring Salem. What truly made our experience exceptional was Suzanne, the innkeeper, and the other staff members. They are all absolutely amazing…welcoming, attentive, and full of fantastic ideas for dining and must-see spots around town. Their passion for Salem and their guests shines through in every detail. Great central location. Quiet. clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. Car park was bonus. Breakfast basic and good. Only suggestion I would suggest is if self check in details were sent early morning as opposed to 3pm. If you are on international flight and end upbeen delayed things can become stressful. I appreciate not everyone would be arriving after hours but when events go amiss its good to know you have all info well in advance.

The Salem Inn is a fun place for families. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. The Inn is very conveniently located in downtown. It is walking distance to everything. There is limited parking available, but we had no problem finding a space. Breakfast was fairly basic and a little lackluster, but the service was very good.

The Salem Inn was located in the middle of town. A good location near Essex Street. The parking was free with the room. The staff were very friendly - in fact, due to low check-ins they allowed us to stay parked until our Guided Tour was finished (a couple hours after check-pout time). Great service!
