Property was fine, secluded enough that we had a private campfire each night except for the owner's security cameras. (not disclosed)The camper had modern kitchen appliances, however we did not use any of them as we didn't cook in the camper and ate elsewhere. We were fortunate to have nice weather especially because there was insufficient space inside this camper to cook, move around or even play a game of cards. With the space allowed, it was even difficult to change our clothes. This owner advertised outside showers which would have been very helpful after a day of swimming, however we searched everything outside of the camper and possibly attached to the outside of the camper and could not find them. The owner did not provide a basic handout or information folder (as with other vrbo properties) with information pertaining to the camper such as how to use appliances and . The camper had plenty of bath towels to use after showers which we needed after each day of swimming. We spent each of our days swimming, so we used provided (dry) bath towels each night. I did not realize until I arrived home from the short vacation, that the owner charged me an additional fee of 75 for laundry (bath towels). I listed 2 people for our stay (myself and grandson), however unexpectedly at the last minute my 12 yr old granddaughter wanted to come which I thought was fine as the camper photos show 2 lofts and occupancy limit of four. The 3 of us brought our own bedding except for the s
Just a heads up. When you flush the toilet the shower water gers ice cold lol. Some sunblocking curtains in the bedroom downstairs would be awesome. The bed downstairs could use a quality egg crate. Otherwise it was great.
Perfect location to bike trail, Boulder Junction, Coffee House, and a fantastic bar and restaurant. Lots of wildlife. We saw 2 bear and 2 deer at the campsite. We also saw an Albino deer nearby. Camper was cute and had everything you need.
Still like brand new! Not having cell service I couldn't ask questions if there was wifi availability. It would be nice to have something there for reference, we did figure everything else out. Beds not the most comfortable. The address listed did not get us there using Google map, I searched Gooch's bar and found the property. Bar is very good! Really liked the quietness around us!
The Timberwolf is beautiful! I havenât camped in 15 years and the accommodations made it a great experience. Location is perfect for easy access to many area lakes for fishing.
The unit was nicely stocked as well! I also LOVED that that there were no odors of any kind in the camper, including the sheets and towels! Jay, the owner, was very responsive and easy to work with.
I just have a few suggestions to make the accommodations even better: install some hooks near the shower area to hang clothes or hang bath towels; add a picnic table to the property outside so thereâs a place to eat outside of the camper; install a handrail on the outside deck to hold onto for safety when entering or exiting the property.
I suggest bringing your own table for the outside area if you like eating outside. It would be nice to install some kind of hand rail to hold onto when getting in and off the deck.
