Very reasonably priced property considering the location. Perfectly located right by the seafront. Its wear and tare is showing but for a short stay in Bournemouth, you canât go wrong with Brooklands Lodge!
Room was lovely and spacious with everything that we needed, only thing that I missed was a hairdryer but these were available from the sister hotel but that is up across the road
Clean room, welcoming friendly staff, felt safe, parking elsewhere is best so added inconvenience of walking to a car parking spot, functional but not pretty, heavily worn
The property is good value for money, the staff are extremely helpful. Yes the property is basic but the price is exceptionally cheep and staff canât do enough to help with your requests.
Only downside was took forever to get key to room as cleaner still cleaning at check in time. Outside looks abit dated but once in was perfect spacious and great location thank u
Not a great hotel but was ok for an overnight with my daughters after a day out.
Not the friendliest of welcomes, parking was a nightmare and noisy residents in other rooms.
Had a great stay , however as I have a few mobility issues next time I will stay in a different room . The room. Was clean etc âŠcoffee machine was nice . Could have done with a chair where the desk was . When checking out , had help with my bags which was good
Bit of a pain having to check into a different hotel before going to the one I actually booked. But for the price it was fine, clean and tidy. Very noisy though with traffic outside and people walking about on creaking floorboards and every door slamming.
Was comfy and area was good. If it hadn't have said that I had a bath shower rather than just a shower it wouldn't have been an issue but just a heads up if that's important to you. Bring your own coffee etc as there's literally just one pod and the room wasn't cleaned for the 5 nights I stayed. Pleasant but basic hotel with no amenities but if you just want to spend a few days by the seaside it's perfect
This hotel is nothing like the photos shown, very misleading the property is extremely run down and dilapidated. The toilet was dirty as were the carpets both within the room and in the stairs etc. There was a strong smell of drugs and lots of noise. We decided to make our excuses and leave and booked into a premier inn half a mile away.
They could do a better job at keeping the place clean, there was mould on bathroom roof and the utensils in the room had to be cleaned out by us again before use, of which some had hair in them, the place needs airing out and the heater wasnât working and it was a very cold weekend
There was no cleaning service. I stayed here for 7 nights. No sheet changes, no towel changes. The WiFi connection was pretty slow. The tv was tiny. 5am one morning an alarm was set off. Maybe fire alarm? And no hotel staff or police showed up.
The entire hotel smelled like body odor.
The bed was springy.
On weekends the parking was tight.
But on the bright side, it was affordable and in the best location for convenience and safety.
The hotel was in good area to the town & beach but that was the good bit, bed was in comfy as was in 2 parts broken that came apart when moved on, the water runs on a boiler so itâs not constant, couldnât have a shower as the water was freezing cold, they allow dogs in the Nest adjacent annex joined which someone left in the garden which had us up at 5am barking all morning.
I wouldnât go back, or book there again.
