The hotel is quirky, with many nice touches, like the library and the lovely garden, and period features. The food is excellent and the staff always polite and ready to help. The breakfast was absolutely top notch. Our family room was very clean and spacious, and with the hotel being very close to the beach, it was a great base. Our 2 year old absolutely loved exploring the hotel and the staff were always very friendly. The restaurant staff deserve a special mention for the extra attention to detail and going to great lengths to accommodate a tired toddler. Many thanks to everyone at Cottonwood again, they made our 5-day stay there a pleasure.

The room was refurbished and all that we asked for. I love the charm of the decor, can see they are doing ongoing refurbishments so it will be great when it is all completed. Staff were great, couldn't be helpful enough.

Great one night stay. Lovely sea view room, nicely decorated with very comfortable large bed and smart bathroom. Excellent food for evening meal and breakfast. Would stay again.

I've stayed here before and feel quite at home when I'm here. I love the decor! The staff are super friendly. Love the little lounge and outdoor patio. I booked an ocean view room and it was lovely. The bed was comfortable and as it was a Sunday night it was quite peaceful after a Marathon weekend in Bournemouth.

Location on the seafront very good.

Christmas lunch average. Staff were good but under resourced for the occasion.
