Work week in Brownwood

I rented this little apartment so I could work in Brownwood while my children were at 4H camp, be close by in the event anything happened, and not have to drive back home. This was perfect. Not super expensive, clean, easy to get to and get to other locations and shopping in Brownwood. I would recommend this.

Amazing experience

I’ve always been a little hesitant about staying certain places but Paula’s place was perfect for me! She’s very helpful and her instructions for check in and check out are very clear. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get! Definitely recommend staying here if you are ever visiting brownwood!

Perfect place to spend a night or a week!

The property is clean, comfortable and has all the essentials that you could want or need. The bed and bedding was comfortable and good quality. The towels were soft, plush. Paula and her local cohost were responsive if you needed them. This is the second time I have chosen this property. The covered part was a huge bonus, it kept the car out of the direct sunlight and kept it much cooler. I highly recommend this property

My daughter attends the University in this area and this was very close to the school. That made it extremely helpful during our stay to help pack her up for the summer break. We will try to stay in this VRBO again when the new semester begins. Very nice and accommodable.

Owner, property manager and the space were all outstanding. The aparment was much bigger than the listing made it seem, with plenty of space and was beautifully decorated. It felt like home.

Amazing

My mother was transported to Brownwood Hospital. I live 55 miles away and need to be in Brownwood. Found this place on Vrbo. And it is only 4mins from the hospital. Made the reservations on the app. The host sent a confirmation email. And worked with me through vrbo so I could stay one day before and 2 days after my original reservation. The place is like home. And has every convenience. Is exceptionally clean. The only concern was with the colder weather for I was cold at night. For the thermostat is set at 74° and locked there. I reached out to the co host. Who brought me another space heater. Explaining that due to the layout of the apartment and where the thermostat was that usually it was cooler in the front areas. Turning on the ceiling fans and using the extra space heater kept the air circulating and main heater coming on more. It was comfortable. Also I left a bag of dirty clothes and contacted the host through Vrbo. She replied saying the housekeepers had found them and the cohost had locked them up in there storage shed. Also has covered parking. The neighborhood is safe and quite. Will stay there again! Couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Property was not ready for check-in at 3:00 p.m. as stated. Eight phone calls to the only number listed did not evoke a response from the host. A neighbor on the property said he could help with the issue (used bed linens piled on the bed and used bath linens piled in the tub, bathroom not cleaned, unit not vacuumed). Not until about 9:30 p.m. were we in the unit. 61/2 hours paid for, but unusable. Despite the neighbor being very helpful and apologetic, I will not rent this unit again.

Quiet and Clean

The apartment was very clean and and quiet. With the outside temps being very high we were pleasantly surprised with how well the a/c worked. There was a fan to use when cooking to help cool the kitchen. We would stay here again if ever in the area.

Great value for your money.

Property is best suited for 1-2 people. It was clean and comfortable for our 5 nights stay. Bathroom is very small. Air conditioning in the Texas heat was not the best in the front part of the apartment. We used the stand fan in the closet to blow air from the bedroom down the hallway to that part to help cooling. Bedroom stayed cool entire stay. Kitchen was adequate for basic needs. Nice refrigerator and they furnished a Brita water filter pitcher too. Water taste awful there otherwise. Don, site host in apt #1, was great.

Home was as advertised and for value was great. Kitchen and kitchen wear could use a good cleaning. Internet is terrible for working online. But good enough to stream to the Smart TV. AC in bedroom is excellent but in living room can’t keep up with heat of Brownwood this summer. Had to utilize the fan stored in bedroom closet.
