Lovely home, plenty of space. Convenient to CBD. Contact with the owner was great. Extra heating in dining room would have been good for sitting around longer in there. Getting out of the driveway a little tricky. We had a terrific time staying at this home and seeing more of Bendigo.
Lovely home with all that we required. Plenty of room to park our 3 vehicles on the property. A bit draughty for our QLD contingency, but no complaints from the Vic family.
The property has a lovely ambience with all the amenities you need. Very comfy beds and was in a great location. Very clean & well maintained, would happily stay here again.
We had a fantastic stay here.
House is perfect for a family with teenagers, like us, as multiple bedrooms provided individual breakout space. Alternatively, could see the house would work for two families or multi-generation family traveling together.
Place was clean, fresh and homely.
Centrally located, the space met all our need for our stay in Bendigo.
Close to town.
On a roundabout so fairly noisey through the day and night, especially when a big truck drove by or someone with no exhaustâŠ
We stayed in the winter and was SO cold.
There were heaters but circuit breakers kept tripping.
Barbecue looks around 20 years old and not in great shape.
Upsides were close to town.
Huge great garden for kids and dogs.
Lots of comfortable beds.
Entertainment was really good. Living room tv connected to everything.
Super simple access through electronic lock. Very handy, no keys, just a simple code to remember.
Dilapidated, dirty, depressing. We left as soon as possible.
Not a pleasant location. Situated on a busy roundabout.
The front garden looked neglected, with broken front gates that couldnât be closed and missing fence pickets. There were plants growing out of the porch and the outdoor furniture was poor. It felt very unwelcoming with no little touches, especially considering it was Christmas.
The backyard was unusable, with knee high grass. There were fire pit coals poured onto a gravel portion of the yard and the concrete was littered with old dog leads and broken toys, which I had to clean up. It was not dog friendly.
The property had not been maintained well. There was an overwhelming smell of rising damp and it could do with a thorough clean. The kitchen bench and cupboards were sticky. The range hood and oven had not been cleaned for months, covered with caked on grease and residue. The pantry items consisted of an old bag of sugar and some wasabi satchels. We could not eat here.
The overall furniture and styling was poor. It looked as though no effort or thought was given to creating a stylish holiday home that you would want to experience.
The bedding was not inviting, with mismatched linen that looked as though it had been just thrown together quickly. The bed was not comfortable.
We could not wait to leave. This property is not fit for purpose. We left early after obtaining other accommodation in Bendigo, which was a direct contrast to this property. Worst home I've ever been in.
We found this property very homely and comfortable. The only negative was the driveway being right on the exit of a roundabout.
We would definitely stay again.
A lovely home that had comfortable beds, good facilities, was warm and had a safe and large backyard for our 2 dogs. Its location meant it was a short drive in to the city centre, to tourist attractions or a 2 minute walk to the Queenâs Arms Hotel for dinner and a drink. Would definitely stay there again.
The property met expectations. The yard was well fenced so our dog was safe. Chris was contactable for a minor query we had. We were very happy with our stay.
Terrific little house, with everything you need (lots of extra touches to make it feel very home like).
We stayed with our two dogs and were very comfortable. It is a short walk to down (half an hr walk).
We have stayed in other pet friendly houses in Bendigo and this one is by far the best.
Nicely decorated old house with some rustic components. It was not very clean when we got there, the fridge needed cleaning (milk residue in door compartments, food smears throughout shelves and freezer), 1 bed had dog hair in it, other 2 beds smelled of sweat and perfume. Cobwebs in most corners and thick dust in most places. Dog poop in garden. Owner offered a cleaner the next day, but we had already spent hours cleaning.
The house is on a roundabout intersecting 2 main roads that have heavy trucks using it from early in the morning.
Two bedrooms at front of house, 1 at back. Beds are comfy. Netflix available. Nicely furnished house. Lots of inside plants. Lots of parking.
Comfortable and homely spot.
Clean and spacious, with friendly and helpful communication from the hosts!
Contributed to an enjoyable first trip to Bendigo.
everything with our stay was very good excerpt the cooling, as i am carer for my wife i do what ever i can to make her life as comfortable as i can. Our time up there the temperature was 30 + and the only cooling you had was evaperative cooling in future when i take my wife away i will make sure they have reverse cycle air conditioning because it was so uncomfortable for her we left a day early.
A great house with a fully equipped kitchen which meant we had options for catering during our stay⊠but so close to town which meant we had the best of both worlds!
A lovely home away from home where our little dog was secure and our kids comfortable.
Communication with the owner has been delightful, timely, helpful and caring.
We will be back!!
