I had one little hiccup with check-in for our accessible room. The property apparently only has one accessible room and we booked it. Arriving at 7:30 pm, our room had not been cleaned and ready for us. I spoke with the front desk clerk and asked why, knowing we were coming, the room had not been cleaned earlier in the day. She told me they were shorthanded. My thoughts on this matter were that managers ought to prioritize an accessible room to be cleaned earlier as we needed that specific room, not a substitute room. We waited about 40 minutes after a long day driving and wanted to let management know that situation had occured. The desk clerk gave us a discount on the room, however, and that was a nice thing to do.

Nothing fancy but would stay again

You could tell the hotel was older but they tried to cover up some of the damage, especially on my room door but all in all the room was comfortable. I spent a lot of time in the room as I was by myself since my daughter was staying on campus. I had a king suite and it was clean and quiet even being right across from the ice machine and facing the highway. The pool area was less than impressive but I didn’t use the space and used the jacuzzi in my room, which was clean. The only issue I had was that I was checking in at 5:30pm and she had to go make sure my room was ready. With check in time at 3, I expect the rooms to be ready by then

Tv didnt work and they had to fix it, it was VERY hot im the hallways, breakfast area and especially hot in the creepy fitness room in the basement and the pool doesnt have good ventilation. It also seemed like they had permanent residents and/or functioned as an overflow for homeless families. We only stayed one night and we were traveling with a cat, so wr appreciated the pet friendly atmosphere

The facility was very nice. However with the flooring being all tiles I could hear all the click clicks from rolling suitcases which woke me with late arrivals and early departures. But other wise a very nice stay.

The room was updated and clean. The maid staff was wonderful. The front desk gal was kind but could have been more productive. The front doormats were quite dirty and a vacuum cleaner was right there and she could have taken care of it. She was not busy and had time to make an extra effort and use her time more wisely. It was a much cleaner and nicer room than what we had at a previous La Quinta.
