The property was exactly what we wanted for a trip to the Watkins Glen area with our 2 grandchildren. The kids enjoyed walking to the dock and around Weller Island The fire pit was perfect for nightly sâmores ! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay !
The hosts were kind and attentive, and the property had lots of options for entertainment. From the dock with boats and waters full of fish, to the fire circle and indoor entertainment spaces, they were all great. The house was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We will be coming back.
We stayed here as a base to Watkins Glenn, which was not far away. The unit is cozy and a little tight at times, but we enjoyed the comfort of being outside. Be prepared if you haven't experienced iron in the water before, it is pretty strong here - make sure to bring your own drinking water. Communication with the host was top notch and very responsive - thanks for the hospitality.
We liked this spot, but the interior was way too crowded. There was so much stuff (furniture, trinkets, shelves, etc.) it was challenging to move around. Every flat surface was filled with books, antiques, and just stuff. All the counters were filled with cooking utensils, coffee makers, flatware, etc. It was just too much. The couch was piled with blankets and pillows. There was no place to sit down and relax. There was no place to set up a computer and get stuff done. I hardly ever give a review that is this harsh, but someone needs to help them simplify.
The Tiny House was perfectly located between Keuka and Seneca lake for our wine tasting weekend! Jamie and Nichole were amazing hosts! Wish it was a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the lake and fire ring, will have to come back in the summer!
