This is a lovely pub with lovely staff and fab food. Breakfast was excellent.
Just a bit out of Brampton than I realised but saying that, the surrounding area was really scenic.
We had a very pleasant two day stay at The Blacksmiths Arms. The staff were friendly and kind and we had some delicious food, particularly the breakfasts which were delicious and very large plates full.
Great staff and a very warm, friendly and efficient check-in. A great touch, much appreciated, was a table was booked for me incase I wanted to dine in.
My room was in a small annex to the Blacksmith Arms. It is generously termed by estate agents as cosy. The bathroom was far larger and included a bath and separate shower. All was clean with a generous application of bleach. The room was very quiet except for the occasional screech of either pheasant or peacock. I couldn't make my mind up which.
Meals were a good portion but not much choice for those growing number of people who prefer not to eat bits of dead animal.
Meal with drink and starter around ÂŁ25.
Very quiet village with the blacksmith the only real attraction.
The Blacksmiths Arms is abit of a hidden gem , our rooms were spacious and clean , dinner was delicious, my son especially enjoyed the haggis Bon Bon . Breakfast was good , freshly cooked and enough . Was a great place to stay .
