A lot of little things made this not worth the money. Beds were very uncomfortable, broken lamps, broken bed post, holes in the curtains. Then housekeeping coming into the unit mid stay without notice. I did get a 50 refund for having people in the unit in the middle of our stay but still would not recommend booking this one.
We enjoyed our short stay in Highland Hideaway, but had a few issues that prevent a genuine 5 star recommendation due to an appearance of skimping and poor attention to detail. On arrival there was a spare light bulb sitting on the railing outside the door. When making up the upstairs fold-out bed we found the 1 extra pillow downstairs in the closet and it had a quarter size patch of blood on it. The kitchen had only 2 dish towels and no washcloths or sponge so we used a small makeup towel from the bathroom to wash dishes and clean the dining room table. The hand soaps provided in the bathrooms were super watery like someone either put foaming soap in the wrong dispenser or just filled a nearly empty dispenser with water. The beds were probably a 3/5 comfortable. That is pretty much all the negatives. It was kindly equiped with several dishwasher and laundry soaps which was convenient. It was also a large space with high ceilings with lots of natural light being on the corner of the building. The living area was comfortable and ipen for our kids to play in. It was also a short 2 block walk from the indoor pool and we enjoyed that with our kids.We liked the space, but would consider a different one next time.
The condo itself was nice inside. It had a lot of spiders and other Pests right outside the door when we got there. We actually walked through a web to get into the condo. My husband grabbed some paper towels and cleaned up as much as he could around the doorway. The primary bathtub drain is very slow. The listing also said all fees included, but when I booked it, extra fees were added. I also felt very overwhelmed and confused by all the emails and texts that were sent about our stay. I am also a nightly condo owner. I send out one welcome email with all the information that is needed in a very easy to read format with a phone number in case they have any problems. It seems like this Condo is being handled in a more corporate fashion. It is a nice condo, but it would not be my first choice due to how it is managed.
Clean and comfortable place to stay. It was nice to have the full bed and twin bed in the loft bedroom so nobody had to share a bed. Quiet neighborhood off the beaten path but still close to all of the attractions.
The check-in went very smoothly. The place was very nice. My only suggestion would be to add a pizza cutter and a few more kitchen items. Often times when families stay, they cook at the VRBO. I also loved the location. It was so near to everything that we did in Branson. The pool was also great for children. I loved the quick response if we had any questions. Thank you so much.
The gated community and home exceeded our expectations! The beautiful home was very spacious, clean, and equipped with many of lifeâs essentials. We frequented the community pool and were pleasantly surprised with the size of the two pools and hot tub. Pickle ball courts and huge chess game were also available. We were blessed to stay in such a beautiful home with itâs many amenities, while enjoying time with our family!
Had a great stay-pool was nice and close (walking distance), AC worked fast, beds were unbelievably comfortable, and felt safe. We let our team wander the campus. Texted a question once and got an answer within 15 minutes. Super responsive. Would definitely stay again!
Wonderful place to stay! Beautiful gated community. Landscaping is awesome and gives you a great vibe driving up to the building. We loved our accommodations and atmosphere of the space from the second we walked through the door. Everything you could need is there. The team is super responsive to and questions and pleasant to boot. Plenty of cooking supplies and other essentials. Short walk to golf, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub. Close to everything we wanted to do, yet far enough from the crowds. We definitely recommend the Highland hideaway and would return 100%
Stayed with family including young children (3-9).The location was excellent. We loved the property and the amenities such as the pools, the riverside for wading/fishing, the playgrounds and tennis and pickleball courts. It was close enough to Silver Dollar City (15 minutes and an easy drive) and Branson proper, but far enough away to be quiet. The unit itself is clean, but sparse. The beds seemed older but comfortable enough. Could use a few more homey touches. I did appreciate that they had extra blankets. Well decorated.
We booked a stay for a graduation trip from professional school. It was a quiet well kept community and the condo was very clean. It had everything we needed for our group. We would recommend staying here.
The temperatures in the rooms was pretty varied. We wish we would have brought more blankets to accommodate this. The property was clean. The instructions about the property were organized well and easy to access. The property managers responded quickly questions
my overall impression of the stay was great, it was very clean and comfortable i would recommend this property to anyone needing a house to stay in for vacation
We went to Branson for Spring Break and wanted a place with great location, plenty of room for all three of our teenage boys. This was it, clean and lightly decorated so you're not moving around trinkets. Plenty of beds and bathrooms and so close to everything, we were just a few minutes from all the sights. They were even accommodating when I needed to add a day because our plans changed. Provided the necessary items to make access to the property easy, too. We are already planning a trip for the summer.
