Filthy and undocumented entrance

We have been staying with Thousand Hills cabins and condos for 18 years and unfortunately the last several stays have been unsatisfactory. This time the cabin was filthy upon our arrival. Food under the living room furniture, crumbs and sticky spots on the tables and kitchen surfaces. Lots of damage in the main floor master bath. I took video when I arrived. Then on our first full day there we left for the day and came back to the master bathroom toilet not working. After my husband investigated, the toilet had been shut off while we were out. The toilet valve inside the tank was broken. We called the club houses after hours line as it was 10:30-11pm and they told us nobody had been in the unit. The next morning a man showed up and again said there was no evidence that anyone had been in the unit while we were out. We did not shut the toilet off ourselves and had been using it all evening and night the previous day. The man went in the bathroom took the tank lid off and shoved the broken pipe down further into the line and said there you go all fixed. The toilet ran none stop the remainder of our visit. The faucets all leak, the showers don’t turn all the way on. The master bath looked like it had been through a lot. Toilet paper holder is barely on the wall, hand towel rack is broken so leave your towels on the sink counter. Be careful of the tub and floors, they are super slick and the floors sweat terribly. There needs to be some major repairs and upgrades.

Good central location

Close to shopping and restaurants. The TVs were old and often could not work between the 3 remotes. The window air conditioner unit was very loud. There many dust webs and thick dust coating on all decor and had a stale smell when walking in. The pool is small and without a pool house/restroom. No parking at pool so walking back to unit cut the time down. The front desk was responsive when called but couldn’t guarantee a time anyone could come out when there was a baby skunk on the porch the only exit out. Overall was okay

Excellent location in woods and center of attractions

We loved this location between all the Branson attractions, yet with the peaceful impression we were far from it in the woods. The cabin was just as advertised. The parking space at our unit is on a tippy hill which made us feel like we were in Grandfather’s Mansion at Silver Dollar City and that we might roll down the street. That was fun for me. My 80-year old parents did not notice the effect so they were fine. The cabin had two private bedrooms (one on the entry-level floor, and one on the second floor), and one loft bedroom that could use the main bathroom on the first floor or go through the second floor bedroom to use that private bathroom. We enjoyed the screened-in deck. Check-in is at the golf course club house a different location than the cabin about five minutes away. We had a great experience and highly recommend this location!

Thanksgiving 2024

It was a clean and cozy place, we enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving with the family. We enjoyed the nice big fireplace that made for a nice atmosphere and a relaxing time. It was also helpful that it was located near shopping and other adventures.

Family Friendly

The accommodations were very nice. The families oriented area was refreshing, and felt more wholesome. We were easily accommodated showing up one day ahead of scheduled arrival. The area was well maintained, and the cabin was gorgeous. A few very minor repairs were needed, but considering the frequent usage it was easily forgiven. Overall, a GREAT experience. Great Place! Thank you!

Overall it was a great place to stay. The location is perfect and close but still feels secluded and quiet. Only downside I had was having to go to the clubhouse to check-in. Would have been more convenient to go straight to the cabin.
